The 14 chosen girls move into the house, but any pre-conceptions they had about life in a sorority are quickly dispelled by a shock team challenge in the middle of the night, the losers of which face week-long punishments and the risk of elimination from the contest. The American hosts also arrange a ceremony in which the contestants must pledge allegiance to the sisterhood in front of family and friends.
