TASK: SWEET DREAMS… OR A BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE!


Today, housemates will be tarred and feathered as they race to collect teddy bears as fast as they can.

How it works
The housemates will split themselves into 5 teams of 2 housemates. Karissa and Krisina count as one some will become part of a threesome.

At one end of the garden is a giant bed loaded with dozens of the team coloured pillows. Inside some of the pillows are teddy bears of the same colour.

The housemates are dressed in team coloured sleep suits which match their team coloured pillows and teddy bears.

Each team must run a relay race to complete the task. They must send one team member at a time to dash to the bed, rip open their team-coloured pillows and attempt to find one of their team-coloured teddy bears, as quickly as possible. All of the pillows contain feathers and only some of the pillows contain a teddy.

Housemates must tear open their pillows until they find a teddy then bring it back to the starting point. They must place their team coloured teddy on their team’s coloured podium. They must then tag their next team mate to set off to find another teddy.

However, in order to get to the giant bed, they must clamber through a vat of golden syrup, making each manoeuvre very tough. They must clamber through it again on their return, after they’ve found a teddy in order to deposit their teddy at the start/finish point. Teddies must be collected one at a time.

The fastest team to complete the task by putting all 4 of their team coloured teddies in the mini teddy bear beds, will win immunity from Sunday’s nominations. This will guarantee that they will stay in the house for another 6 days.

As an incentive, the last team to get all their bears to the finish point will receive a punishment.

Earlier today Housemates were asked to buddy up with their ideal bed partners – putting themselves into teams of 2 for todays task.

As Karissa and Kristina count as one housemate, they were asked to form a threesome with another Housemate.
The housemates decided on the following teams:

GREEN TEAM: Romeo & Denise

YELLOW TEAM: Karissa, Kristina & Georgia

RED TEAM: Michael & Kirk

BLUE TEAM: Gareth & Natalie

PINK TEAM: Frankie & Nicola

How it worked:
On the sound of the alarm clock the teams raced against each other to recover their four team coloured teddy bears, which were hidden in their team coloured pillows on the giant bed.

However, to get into bed, each team crawled through a layer of super sticky syrup. Once they had burst open their relevant coloured pillows and found one of their 4 team coloured bears, they had to crawl BACK through the syrup and over the start line before their teammate could repeat the process and retrieve their next bear.

Each teammate took turns collecting the bears and completed the course twice; collecting two bears each – apart from the twin’s team; Karissa and Kristina each completed the course once collecting one bear each, and their teammate Georgia completed the course twice, collecting two bears.

The results:
The Pink team completed the challenge in 11 mins 33 secs.

The Yellow team was next with a time of 12 mins 07 secs, and just beat the Red teams who came in at 12 mins 11 secs.

Denise and Natalie found the going really tough and after Romeo returned with the Green team’s 3rd bear after 15 mins 16 secs, Denise waited until Gareth’s teammate Natalie was back with their 3rd bear at 18 mins 28 secs then he helped her venture back through the syrup to find their 4th and final bears together. Gareth found his pretty quickly but proved what a great sport he is by helping Denise search through the millions of feathers to find the remaining green pillow cases, and the green teams 4th and final bear!

However, he wasn’t prepared to lose and put the Blue team’s 4th bear on their finish podium at 27 mins 37 secs – 3 seconds before the Green team placed their 4th and final bear on the podium, meaning the Green team came last.

Prize & Punishment:
Pink team Frankie and Nicola, were the first team to get all 4 bears on their team podium and therefore won an incredible prize – Immunity from the next public vote.
Green team Romeo and Denise, were the last team to recover all 4 bears and will face a complete nightmare as punishment for coming last. Tonight, they must spend the night together in the small task room with none of their usual home comforts. This task room is all white complete with one single bed. So, will they top and tail, or will Romeo be a gentleman and opt for the floor…? And how will they cope when Big Brother plays in a soundtrack of Michael Madsen’s snoring, on loop?

Oh no! Poor Romeo and Denise. That is evil!
