x Factor wants to have cake and eat it

X Factor supremo Simon Cowell's net worth
is estimated to be over 200 million pounds.

The show itself is said to bring in more
than 75 million GBP in advertising per
season, charging 250k for a 30 second slot
in the final. And with around 15 million
votes cast per series, another five million
quid comes from phone voting.

Last weekend someone attached to the show
contacted a cakemaker in the north west
to see if they could do a cake in the
shape of Louis Walsh's face, to feature
in the auditions this week.

How much do you think they were offered
for this special commission to be done
urgently over the bank holiday? Well,
if you guessed somewhere between
f*** all and sweet f.a., you'd be right.


FYI: Someone on the X Factor set says Dermot
O'Leary gets upset with himself if he
does anything wrong, banging clipboards etc
against his head, muttering "you can DO IT,
Dermot. You can DO THIS" etc.

FYI 2: We're also told that Dermot is very
polite. "He writes a lovely thank you letter."
