Day 17: Not a good eve for the Goodyear

Well, well, well – to say it's been an interesting evening is an understatement. Earlier, we saw both Samantha and Danica walk through the doors and into the hands of the baying crowd. It was hard not to notice that there were quite a lot of boos for the controversial ladies and even harder to ignore the chants of 'get Julie out'.

The lady herself certainly didn't miss it, and has been in a rather subdued mood ever since. She tried to get her head around the whole boo-ing scenario and turned, rather surprisingly, to Coleen for reassurance.

"Who was it who said they booed the winner?" Julie asked.

Coleen explained that a previous winner had received boos and that the eviction crowd can sometimes turn into a pantomime.

"Is it just part of it? Do some people just come to boo? F**k me", she replied.

Whether this helped the Corrie actress or not, we're not sure – she's playing her cards close to her chest this evening.

But if that didn't ease her mind, she can always rely on Julian for support, as he hasn't left her side all night. The stand-up comedian has been valiant in his efforts to make sure his close friend is coping with the night's turn of events, making sure he attends to her every need – even after her insistence that she is fine.

Earlier in the evening, Coleen declared "now the fight is on" – does this mean she'll finally speak her mind to Julie? And will Julie change her behaviour after losing an ally in Samantha, especially after the reaction from the crowd tonight?

We have a feeling that the dynamic in the House is going to dramatically change in the last couple of days and so all we can say is, watch this space....

Interview: We chat to Samantha Ch5

Sam says she should not be defined by her career choice, fair enough, but she feels it legit to define certain housemates by their career choices.

Yes exactly!! :8o: Whatever anyone may think of Danica, she was FAR more entertaining and pleasant to watch than Sam. There have been lots of FAR worse housemates than Danica and she did not deserve the boos that she got.

I really do not like Harvey or Julie or 'The Situation' or Ashley.

I like Julian and Prince Lorenzo.

I quite like Martin and Colleen. My only problem with Colleen, is that at the beginning she moaned and sulked a lot, and Martin is nice, but hasn't really been very entertaining.

At the moment, I want Julian to win, but wouldn't mind if Lorenzo, Martin or Colleen did.

As my favourite housemate was Danica, now that she has gone, I will back the people who supported her in the house i.e. Julian, Lorenzo and Colleen.

Right from the start, Julie was gameplaying. She kept saying how much she liked 'camp' to Julian - in my mind, that was her effort to get the gay community on her side. Another incident, was the seagulls flying over - that was obviously something she had planned before she went in. Mind you, I suppose she has done well for a 70 year old. I do wish she would stop chewing gum though. That really annoys me.

It does not matter what age a person is if they are not nice they are not nice, get it - got it - good. No one minds anyone playing the game, like Martin, Lorenzo, Julian and Coleen are; the difference between them and they other lot is they are playing it with no malice attached. Sam is no saying why didn't Coleen confront Julie, well she should ask the same question of herself, she played mother and carer to Julie and if she had not she would have suffered the same backstabbing the bitch Julie forks out when she is not being adored.

Sam trying to spin untruths about Julian and Julie and the Shituation trying to spin Lorenzo's sexuality is just part and parcel they why people like them operate. :puke:

I'm not happy that Lorenzo and Martin are up with 2 to go, because that means that one of them will go. :-? Why couldn't we have got rid of Harvey, Ashley and 'The Situation' first? 'The Situation' will end up in the Final with Harvey and Ashley, just as he wanted to be. :-?

Yesterday, housemates were made to nominate for the last time. Big Brother called the eight remaining celebrities, one by one to the diary room, where they were asked to nominate two housemates each. The Situation couldn’t nominate as he was banned after cheating last Wednesday in the face to face nominations, and was told to sit on the naughty step throughout the nominations.

Julian is first to nominate and his first choice was Prince Lorenzo, “I disliked the fact that he called Julie bitter and for his dullness.” His second nomination is for Martin as he asserts his authority over him and regularly affirms his superiority in the house.

Coleen was the second housemate to nominate. Julie was her first choice adding: “She's been a bit fake from day one, talking behind people's backs,” she quipped. Her second nomination was for Martin, "When I'm alone with him I don't know what to talk about. I love the guy!"

Julie was next up and first nominated The Situation who she claimed has “been sad since Danica left which makes her feel sad.” She then nominated Prince Lorenzo, saying “I don't have a great deal in common with the human calculator.”

The forth housemate to nominate was Prince Lorenzo who nominated Julie. “There's two sides to her, she's two faced.” His second nomination was for Harvey. “We have very different views on women."

Harvey nominated Prince Lorenzo citing "I don't agree with his morals and values.” His second nomination was for Julie, "She's playing the game and trying to influence me."

Next up was Ashley who named Julie as his first nomination. “She's a game player and has a game plan,” he explained. His second nomination is for Martin, “He isolates himself from the group which makes me feel sad. He's a great guy."

The seventh and final housemate to nominate was Martin whose first choice was Julie who he claimed has been "dragging people into the toilets to influence their nominations which is unfair, she deserves to be nominated.” His second nomination was for Julian as last week he lit up an electronic cigarette in the bedroom which I asked him to put out. He thought this was "disrespectful."

As a result of this week's final nominations Julie (received 5 noms), Martin (received 3 noms) and Prince Lorenzo (received 3 noms) all face the public vote to save and the double eviction on Wednesday.

Day 22: Martin is not amused

Last night, Harvey and Ashley had a bit of a noisy one, keeping our older housemates awake with their antics. Predictably, certain people are not impressed this morning...

No sooner had everyone tumbled out of bed, than Martin was letting rip in the kitchen: "Harvey crossed a line, it's disrespectful." He was talking about when Harvey charmingly made his butt talk, right in Coleen's face. For her part, Coleen seemed to be fairly unmoved, saying that she had just put her head under the covers, and that Harvey had been a bit squiffy, so she didn't mind. This did not convince Martin, who growled, "no excuse..."

Julie and Lorenzo had something to say, too, with Julie saying, "I would have really appreciated a quiet night...I agree with Martin." She did say, though, that she probably wouldn't bother telling them off, as they wouldn't take it seriously. Lorenzo disagreed, reasoning that "if nobody tells them, they're not gonna know they did anything wrong."

Julian also believes the boys went too far, as he told Coleen "it was funny for a while, but it went...beyond" and even Coleen had to agree. When he tried to tell Harvey "you may have crossed a line" Harvey simply responded "oh well..."

That might wash with Julian, Harvey, but we sense a telling-off from Martin might not be so easily brushed off...

Day 22: Show some respect

A lesson in common decency from the honorable Mr. Kemp. There is a line. It has been crossed. Martin is not happy.

Well, well Harvey, who has slated Danica and Rhian for flirting and warned that if any of the men [ he really meant Lornezo ] had flirted with his girlfriend he would have trouble with him when he left the house - the very same Harvey then thinks it "ok" to force his a-hole into people's face's and the main person he did it to is a married women with three children. Don't ya just love the double standards Harvey possess?
