London, April 6 (ANI): Imogen Thomas has called for The Grand National - National Hunt horse race held annually at Aintree Racecourse near Liverpool, England - to be banned.
The new mum took to Twitter to call for it to be scrapped after seeing some racing from Aintree on TV, the Sun reported.
She said: "Watching this morning and I think the grand national should def be banned! Poor horses xx"
But not everyone agreed with the former Miss Wales, who had earlier been posting snaps of her baby daughter Ariana.
She added: "It seems that a lot of women agree with me and all the men are telling me no with a load of abuse."
"Listen boys....just cause u have bets on dont say I'm clueless! It's just an opinion I never said I'm educated in it! So calm down...phew!" (ANI)
