It looks like Kerrang are closing their Birmingham base-I haven't yet seen what KT is doing-she mentioned househunting in Manchester and clearing her desk in the jewellery office and also hinted she would stay with the group-announcements are made when all is settled I guess.
From June 14th 2013, Planet Rock will replace Kerrang! Radio on FM 105.2 in the West Midlands.
But don’t worry if you’re a fan of Kerrang! Radio as this service will continue on Freeview Channel 717, online at kerrangradio.co.uk/listenlive and via our smartphone app.

The team at Bauer Media are really excited about running the two biggest rock radio stations in the UK – Planet Rock and Kerrang! Radio - and is committed to giving our listeners the best choice of new and classic rock, metal, punk and alternative. We hope you enjoy listening!
When will these changes happen and how?
Planet Rock will be introduced to the West Midlands on FM 105.2 on June 14th 2013. It will be broadcast from London, alongside the new broadcast facilities for Kerrang! Radio.
Why are changes being made to Kerrang! Radio?
It’s tough for a niche radio station to be commercially viable in a specific area, such as the West Midlands. Local advertisers tend to demand broader based commercial services targeting a wider audience. It simply wasn’t sustainable to retain a local rock and metal station like Kerrang! 105.2, hence our relocation to the existing Planet Rock broadcasting base in London.
Will I hear my favourite presenter on Kerrang! Radio?
We are working on the new line-up, announcing it as soon as we can. We obviously can’t comment on any individual presenters at this stage but stay tuned.
How can I listen to Kerrang! Radio?
You can hear Kerrang! Radio on Freeview Channel 717, online at kerrangradio.co.uk/listenlive, via our smartphone app and on DAB Radio in some parts of the UK. To check DAB coverage in your area, go to ukdigitalradio.com.
I was thinking about buying a DAB Radio so I can listen to Kerrang! Radio. What should I do?
