‘SUGGESTION BOX’



Housemates are being given the chance to tell each other how they really feel about each other through a Suggestions Box.

How it Works

The Housemates are being given the chance to write anonymous suggestions to each other and post them in a Suggestions Box. Housemates will be given 45 minutes to choose two different Housemates to write suggestions for. Housemates are told that their suggestions will be completely anonymous. Housemates are encouraged to use this as a chance to make constructive criticisms and say things that they may find difficult to say face to face.

Suggestions will be revealed to the house later on in the day.

Big Brother contestants order Dan to 'stop stirring drama in the house'

In a bid to encourage honesty (read: arguments) in the house, Big Brother ordered housemates to post anonymous suggestions to each other in the Suggestion Box. And by ‘suggestions’, we mean statements of ‘here’s what I hate about you’. All in the name of a Spaghetti Bolognese!

No wonder then, when Charlie read out the anonymous messages, a LOT of the contestants – even poor Callum – found that everyone had plenty to say about their bad points. And we mean plenty…

Yesterday housemates were given 45 minutes to vent their grievances against each other by posting two anonymous suggestions in the Suggestion Box. Housemates completed the task within the allotted time and therefore passed the task. Charlie was then asked to read out a selection of the suggestions that were made. She read out the following:



1. Suggestion for: Dexter

Dexter needs to stop stirring drama in the house. He has been the starting point of a few arguments already which have turned out not to be true. He can’t hold his tongue and floats between people telling everyone what the rest are apparently saying.


2. Suggestion for: Dan

Dan needs to stop being so bitchy and give Michael a break.Your honesty and views are sometimes wrong and are making some of the group feel isolated.


3. Suggestion for: Jemima:

Jemima is far too bossy in the kitchen and never says ‘please would you… ‘If she wants to ask someone, she needs to say ‘please I want…’


4. Suggestion for: Gina:

Gina needs to stop nervously laughing and saying ‘i don’t want to talk about it’. You do it all the time. It’s boring and if I’m honest you’re not proving likeable to the group.


5. Suggestion for Callum:

Callum needs to speak more and get more involved with things.


6. Suggestion for: Michael:

Michael needs to stop moaning. You don’t stop. Stop whinging. You’ve got food and clothes. Stop whinging about having nothing.



7. Suggestion for: Daley:

Daley needs to not be so reserved and interact more with the group. He is really nice but sometimes does not show his real personality.


8. Suggestion for: Sallie:

Sallie needs to pay attention. She can be ignorant when others are talking to her.


As a reward for their honesty the housemates were given the ingredients to make a spaghetti Bolognese for their dinner.

when you're in the diaryroom talking to big brother, stop clearing your throat after every sentence!. it's bloody annoying!- just wish he'd talk normally. and if that's his normal voice, then i don't much like it
