when i log in and view the posts since last visit (or view new posts as it says on this forum) as well as it showing all the new posts, it also shows all the posts i've seee

today for instance when i logged in, i saw all the posts from last night, as well as the newer ones at the top.

perhaps this is normal... i'm not sure. but i find it odd- new posts should be posts you've not seen

No that's not how it should be. As you said, it should just be new posts that you haven't seen before. Does this always happen or just this time? It seems to work as it should for me.

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with being permanently logged in? I actually log in and out each time & it works fine for me. It shows new posts since your last login I think rather than last visit, so if you are always logged in, maybe it just shows all the posts since the last login. This is only a guess on my part though.
