Big Brother’s Gina Rio accused of being a ‘fake’ and lying about her £10,000-a-month pocket money

Big Brother’s controversial housemate Gina Rio claimed she’s given £10,000-a-month allowance by her mum and lives in London’s swanky Savoy hotel – but it appears she may have been telling lies.

The socialite – who described herself as ‘the most spoilt girl in Britain’ – has been branded a ‘fake’ by former colleagues.

One of her former bosses, Donovan Dwyer, managed a girl band she was in in 2009 and has now revealed he fired her for being a fraud.

Her former bandmates have also come forward saying they were shocked when they heard she laps up the life of luxury.

‘We saw no evidence of wealth at all. She dressed like a Primark catalogue and drove a clapped-out Peugeot,’ the revealed.

Meanwhile, Dwyer said of his dealings with Gina: ‘The Gina you see on Big Brother is the same Gina we experienced in the group. It’s like history repeating. Fake.

‘She couldn’t sing. She couldn’t dance. She was a nightmare.

‘She caused friction in the group by thinking she was a class above everyone. The other girls hated her. After three months we got rid of her.’

And to further help the case that Gina has in fact been telling porkie pies, a neighbour of a council flat in Islington, where Gina is believed to live with her parents, told the Daily Star: ‘I’ve seen her around a few times. I think she shares the place with her mum.’

Housemate faces police questioning

BBUK bust-up sparks security alert

Big Brother 2013 contestant Dan Neal could be questioned by police following a huge bust-up with Jemima Slade.

The ex-Savile investigator and his fellow housemate came to blows on Monday night, prompting show producers to put their security on high alert.

The Channel 5 show reportedly only aired a clip of the heated fight before security were put on stand-by.

Gina Rio’s popularity soars after two weeks inside Big Brother house

Gina Rio started off as the most hated Big Brother housemate but now bookies have seen the controversial housemate’s popularity soar.

After being the favourite to get the boot first, Gina now has odds of 9/1 to win the entire show, according to Boylesports.

She has been involved in more than her fair share of arguments inside the house but it seems after two weeks, viewers are finally warming to her.

Gina was put up for eviction this week alongside Dexter Koh and Jemima Slade but on Wednesday’s show, when the phone lines were frozen, she had the fewest number of eviction votes so was spared from the chop.

Sophie Lawrence is still the bookies’ favourite to win the series, with odds of 4/1. But twins Jack and Joe are coming up fast behind her at 5/1.

Jemima Slade “I don’t want to go!” – Dexter Koh “I haven’t p*ssed anybody off”

Big Brother’s second eviction of the series airs tonight and yesterday the two nominated housemates were explaining why they should get some more time in the Elstree house.

Dexter Koh and Jemima Slade face the public vote tonight and the pair are on tenterhooks, waiting to see which one of them will fall foul of the viewers and be sent home on the live Channel 5 special.
