DAILY UPDATE: DAY 26




Key highlights from tonight’s show:


• From the safe house Dexter remarks on Daley waking up with a guilty look on his face all the time.
• Gina tells Dexter that he reminds her of a fashion designer. Dexter goes on to do an impression of a fashion designer.
• In the garden, Jackie asks Hazel if she was wrong last night while talking about Callum. Dan and Hazel don’t think she did anything wrong but Charlie tells her to be more mindful and the two begin to argue.
• Callum attempts to build bridges with Hazel following his comments to Daley the previous evening about his and Hazel’s behaviour.
• Charlie is upset and cries in the garden following her argument Jackie. Dan comforts her and she admits to feeling frustrated and annoyed at her mum.

While listening from the safe house, Gina is not impressed by Hazel’s conversation with Joe where she discusses her behaviour with Daley.
• Gina and Dexter pick housemates names to fill in the blanks for the ‘Making the Headlines’ task.
• All of the housemates then take turns to guess the answers and think they are actual headlines from their time in the house.
• After the task, Charlie and Joe say they feel relieved not to be mentioned in the headlines. Wolfy targets Charlie and tells her to stop rubbing it in.
• Big Brother announces that housemates have passed the task and will receive a treat of water guns and ice lollies. However as punishment for discussing nominations the day before, Jackie, Sam and Sophie are sent to jail.
• A water fight ensues in the garden, Wolfy turns to Hazel and says, ‘I won the wet t-shirt competition b***h!’
• Hazel and Daley are getting close in the living area; she is persistently trying to hug him.
• Gina and Dexter are told that the nominations will be announced live and they get to watch. They are also informed that they will be able to save one housemate and replace them with someone else.
• The nominations are revealed to the house. Gina comments on Hazel’s reaction to being up for eviction: ‘She looks evil.’
• At the smoking bench Charlie asks Wolfy why she is being difficult and what her ‘problem is’ following her comments after the task. Wolfy says that her problem is that Charlie thinks Wolfy has a problem. Charlie is left bemused by her behaviour.
• During tonight’s show, there are several moments where Daley and Hazel almost lock-lips…

Key quotes from tonight’s show

1. Dexter talks to Big Brother about life in the safe house.

Dexter “My whole mind set on this whole experience has changed because in the first couple of weeks it was a constant barrage of abuse…. now I feel like I can build myself back up, strong happy and confident in who I am and what I am about and take on what life throws at me…I have a better understanding of who they all are now. It’s amazing! Absolutely amazing!”

2. Wolfy is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about her feelings towards Charlie and being branded fake.

Wolfy “I am not going to stop spitting, I don’t give a s**t about what the public think. That one was hilarious (fake headline), better for people to talk about me than not, better to make an impact. Tell you what though, I have to step up my game now Big Brother. I have got to be faker than ever! Push some buttons…have some fun.”

Big Brother “Is there anything else you wanted to talk about to Big Brother Wolfy?”

Wolfy “I am having a HUGE HUGE HUGE problem with Charlie, she is like the bad rash that won’t go away. She likes to be centre of everything and put herself on this higher level and think that she is better than anyone else which I can’t f**king stand. It was clearly shown in the task, I am pretty happy I made the headlines, it shows I’ve made a big impact.”

3. Jackie tells Charlie that now that she has been nominated she cannot analyse this week and needs to enjoy herself.

Jackie “Don’t sit and worry about it…just enjoy yourself and have fun.”

Charlie “I am just going to embrace it because if it is my last week then it will be my last ever week then I am going to have fun.”

4. Jackie is in the diary room talking about Charlie being up for eviction.

Jackie “I can’t believe it; absolutely gutted I would never have thought it, dreamt that she would be up for nomination. Absolutely gutted I just hope she doesn’t go.”

Big Brother “How would you feel if Charlie was to be evicted?”

Jackie “I would be distraught if she goes. I am not sure about how I will cope.”

5. Dexter tries to give Gina some constructive criticism to help her win the show.

Dexter “If I was your manager I would want you to win the show… people like to see change, you have changed so much become a much happier, you have been on such an amazing journey in the house… I just have a few more things that I would change for you going back in.”

Gina “Go on, tell me now, I can take constructive criticism.”

Dexter “Sometimes you’re the nicest person in the world which we really like, now even showing your heart for people that you hated before and that’s wicked. Every day you go up a notch… I just wouldn’t care so much about everyday getting ready, make yourself look cool but don’t over think how much about how you look because it shows too much vanity.”

Gina “No. The thing is I don’t care. I am not going to slum myself down to please everyone else.”

6. Daley and Hazel are in the garden lying side by side and discussing relationships.

Hazel “Cuddle?..No go.”

Daley (Whispers) “You’re beautiful.”

Hazel “Thank you…you never know what will happen.”

Daley “Do you know what you want to happen?”

Hazel “Clearly, I can’t shape your life your decisions.”

this is going to be such an exciting week in the house.

Day 27: The BIG reveal in the garden

What a shock for the housemates! No, not the fact Gina and Dexter weren't evicted. Nor the Travers switcheroo. What really sent jaws dropping was the pool!

In the kerfuffle you'd think the priority would be finding out just what Gina and Dex had been up to but it wasn't the case.

All Jack and Joe could talk about was the new water feature. In fact the first thing Jack said was, "There's a jacuzzi and it's stone lined." No expense spared in the Big Brother House.

However the pair (and the rest of the House) have been pining for a pool so why are we surprised.

And pools have historically been a pivotal point of House life – Becky's splashing entrance last summer and Denise Welch's big flash.

Let's the games begin. Oh hang on, only Dexter, Gina and Charlie have access to it. Hey ho...

Day 27: The Travers parted but still united

It was a shock announcement for both of our Travers girls when Dexter and Gina revealed that they would be saving Charlie and replacing her with her mother, Jackie. The one in line for eviction swapped for the one who hadn't received a nomination. Quite a shake up and one that clearly had an effect on our pair of Travers.

Immediately upon hearing the news, Jackie blamed herself, saying the decision must have been made because of her slightly incensed outburst at Ginxter during face-to-face noms. She hugged Charlie before her girl was whisked off to view her new lodgings – the luxury Safe House with all it's lovely trimmings.

When she'd expressed her gratitude to Gina, Charlie went back into the garden for a heart-warming chat with ol' ma Travers.

"Prepare yourself for the worst but make these the best days of your life" said Charlie, as though her mum was about to emigrate to a land without the internet.

"As long as I can still see you, I will", Jackie T replied.

Little mention of Jackie's chances when the Friday night eviction rolls around. Probably because that's entirely down to you lot and, after all the twists and turns this series, housemates don't have much of an idea of how they're getting on.

Day 27: Dexter and Gina reveal all

Now the secret is out, what will Dexter and Gina tell the housemates about their Safe House experience? Ch5

Dexter saying the public didn't evict him and Gina, they saved us for the safe house.

And why pray you ask did they do that Dexter? They did it because they saw how mean and nasty you and Gina are so they wanted their pound of flesh by putting you two horrible numthy's in te safe house.

Day 27: Dexter's man to man with Daley

He promised to have a few words with Daley and he's certainly kept his word - what advice do you think Dexter offers our ... Ch5

Dexter and Daley agreeing about using Hazel as a "piece of cake" and Dexter only telling the home wrecker, Daley, how he is coming across, none of the same consideration for Hazel though.
What a bunch of hypocritical fame hungry, self obsessed they are.

nice to see Sam and Sophie being featured heavily again

Ginas family like her so much they are wiling to cough up thousends a month to stick her in a hotel away from them .

Declan... is just still a gross digusting tool, who thinks 3 weeks in a house is making him a better human ... give me a break you skeevey woman abuser.

How many times have the fake headlines been used in the BB house?
And what satisfaction would two nice people get from making up lies about people - Gina and Dexter being mean and nasty of course do it without a second thought.

Does Gina get a fiver for every time she calls Hazel evil?
