DAILY UPDATE: DAY 33
Key highlights from tonight’s show:
• Charlie is in the garden with Joe talking about her date with Dexter and Callum. She admits that she still doesn’t believe Dexter has feelings, and how she felt telling Callum some home truths.
• The housemates are in the garden using furniture for instruments whilst Jackie is singing a made up song.
• Daley is called to the diary room and receives the shock news that he is being removed from the Big Brother house for “threatening and aggressive behaviour.”
• Dexter and Sophie are in the living area discussing how they think the winner will behave after the show and if it will change them.
• Dexter is emotional about Daley leaving the house.
• Sam goes to the diary room to talk to Big Brother about Daley being removed, he is still shocked and wants to know what happened.
• The housemates are in the garden discussing Daley’s departure and the possibility of getting a new housemate.
• Housemates take part in nominations in the diary room.
• Some of the housemates are in the garden and an argument erupts between Jackie and Dexter over his alleged lack of manners. Jackie reminds him, “Manners cost nothing.”
• Nomination results are revealed to the house; Callum, Dexter, Gina, Jack & Joe and Jackie all face the public vote.
• In the tree house, Jack & Joe discuss who could have nominated them.
• Gina is in the diary room telling Big Brother that she feels bad about nominating the twins and how sorry she felt for them when their names were announce.
• Dexter and Charlie are hugging on his bed, talking about nominations and the forthcoming evictions.
Key quotes from tonight’s show
1. Hazel and Daley are in the safe house getting ready for the day talking about last night’s incident.
Hazel “I am just thinking we are going to be called up there today to explain ourselves.”
Daley “But there is nothing to explain, did you explain it, I explained it?”
Hazel “I said I didn’t know. They asked me to explain and I was like….”
Daley “You can’t really explain. The way I explained it was play-fighting.”
2. Hazel and Dan are in the tree house having a private discussion.
Hazel “I just don’t want my whole time in this thing to have been about him. My mind was changed last night; he was very drunk last night.”
Dan “Was he, saying things you mean?”
Hazel grabs Dan’s arm to illustrate what she is talking about.
Dan “Oh really!”
Charlie joins Hazel and Dan in the tree house.
Hazel “As well and good as it is being in the there, it is very intense. I’m a very straight person, my personality doesn’t change much. So when people flip on me, when I don’t know what somebody is going to do next, that frightens me.”
4. All of the housemates are called to the living area, Big Brother has an announcement for
them.
Big Brother “Housemates Daley has been removed from the Big Brother house due to a breach of the Big Brother rules. Daley will not be returning to the house. Will one housemate pack up all of Daley’s belongings and take them to the store room.”
Dan “Hazel?”
Big Brother “This is not a joke, housemates.”
The housemates question Hazel about her time with Daley in the safe house and ask if she knows why he has been removed.
Hazel “I genuinely don’t know…everybody can ask me everything you want but I don’t know.”
5. Dan and Hazel are in the tree house talking about Daley being removed from the house.
Dan “Did he try it on hard or something?”
Hazel “No he just flipped…I don’t need anybody knowing this at all…it was just really weird, like we were messing and I hugged him…we were messing around pulling on each other’s covers and play fighting like you do when you’re drunk. I don’t know he just turned; the eyes and everything. I had my knees up to his chest trying to push him away, really really intense. I just grabbed his throat, pushing him away saying you don’t think I am afraid of aggressive men do you, I was pushing him away. Then at that second Big Brother were like ‘Daley come to the diary room.’ I didn’t want anyone to be kicked out, just got a little bit of a fright.”
Dan “I am not surprised this has happened.”
Hazel “I just can’t believe it got him kicked out.”
Dan “You were scared right?”
Hazel “Yeah, I was terrified.”
Dan “There you go. If you were scared and you felt threatened by that then even if it was a f***ing joke it was too much then the right thing has happened.”
6. Hazel is in the diary room talking to Big Brother.
Big Brother “Big Brother understands today has been a bit overwhelming. Big Brother just wants to check that you are ok.”
Hazel “Yeah I’m fine.”
Big Brother “You don’t always have to be fine Hazel. Big Brother is just here to make sure that you are ok and Big Brother understands the last few days have been quite intense for you.”
Hazel “Yeah. I guess it’s just shocking but I’ve said it to Dan and he’s just talking me through. I have agreed that I don’t want to have to discuss it with the rest of the housemates, I just feel a bit guilty if I was involved, is Daley ok?”
7. Callum is talking to Jack about being nominated.
Callum “It is a real backstabbing thing this game.”
Jack “But it’s obvious who’s voted you. Look at their reactions it’s obvious. I know as a fact I’ve got three.”
Callum “It p***es me off. I am done with this f***ing house. I am going to live it up, I would love to stay. But it is getting b***hy, its getting f***ing clicky, getting petty more than I knew it was before.”
