DAILY UPDATE: DAY 41

Key highlights from tonight’s show:


• The housemates are woken up with a loud game show jingle and the announcement of the shopping task: The Right Answer. Each housemate waves when they are introduced to the public.
• As part of the task, Hazel must decide what she wants to eat for breakfast. She selects the pig nose pastry but this is the wrong answer and she fails to win any money towards the shopping budget.
• Sophie is in the safe house talking to Dan about Sam’s behaviour. Sophie says he has been quieter and unwilling to get involved since Dan has entered the safe house. Sophie feels that Sam constantly wants to be in the main house rather than in the safe house.
• Hazel and Charlie are on the smoking bench in the garden, playing with the Twin’s faces. Hazel goes to kiss one of the Twins in jest when they are scrunching up their faces.
• Sophie’s has the first of many riddles she must answer for the shopping task. For each correct answer she will receive £20 towards the budget.
• Gina is angry and upset with Dexter his revelation, during the ‘Announce the Answer’ part of the game show task; Dexter said that he thinks Gina manipulates situations and people against him.
• Joe consoles Sophie in the garden after it was revealed that the public think she has the most annoying voice in the house.
• During the shopping task the Twins must decide which one of them is the favourite of Westlife singer Shane Filan. Jack goes to the phone, it is the correct answer. Joe & Jack are ecstatic and both speak and sing down the phone with Shane.
• Housemates are in the garden for the ‘Gunge the Answer’ section of the shopping task. Dexter, Gina and Sam all get gunged. Housemates guess 4 correct answers and win £80 for the shopping budget.
• Big Brother has gathered housemates on the sofas; they must choose which housemate that the public has branded the biggest snake in the house. Dexter is chosen and puts on the costume. It is revealed that Hazel was the person that the public chose and must therefore must wear the snake costume instead.
• The public has chosen Charlie as the housemate for Callum to perform a striptease for. Callum is dressed in a US naval uniform and performs his routine for Charlie. He secures £100 for the house shopping budget.

1. Hazel, Charlie and Dexter are in the bedroom, talking about Callum.

Hazel “He irritates me sometimes, so he does.”

Charlie “What did he do just then?”
Hazel “He just irritates me. Just the way he says things to me. Sorry.”

Dexter “You don’t have to say sorry to me. I am the head of the Callum appreciation society.”

2. Gina and Dexter are in the bedroom. Dexter is trying to explain why he said that she manipulates people against him.

Dexter “It was after the Daley thing and it was the same night as the Hazel and Charlie argument. Because I went upstairs upset and couldn’t understand if you really did misunderstand what Daley said, or whether you were just doing it to break mine and Daley’s friendship up.”

Gina “What I didn’t really like and I am really shocked about is that if you really felt like that why didn’t you come to me and sit me down and say ‘I don’t like this Gina,’ I feel you are manipulating others or you are doing this or whatever. Talk to me about it and we would have straightened it out. I shouldn’t have to hear about this from Big Brother in this game. Do you understand what I am saying?”

3. Some of the housemates are in the garden with Hazel who is dressed as a snake. They discuss why the public think she is a snake and she quizzes Dexter and Gina on why they picked her as the ‘biggest snake’ in the headlines task.

Hazel “Why did you think I was the real snake just out of interest…was I a backstabber, or was it just to stir?”

Dexter “To be fair it was nothing about being a backstabber, it was that we had a certain number of titles and had to save certain ones for certain people.”

Hazel “Do you think it was because Daley was asked to leave and people think it was my decision and they blame me?”

4. Hazel is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about the day taking its toll on her.

Hazel “The task so far personally for me, is going absolutely s**t. If somebody in the house can come up with one explanation or one example, or if one person in the group thinks, ‘yep she is definitely the snake in the group,’ then I would have held my hands up and said that’s your opinion. Everybody in the house disagreed and they said it was unfair and didn’t think that was the case. Dan is intuitive and he would see if I am a snake or a bad person.”

Big Brother “Do you think the public are wrong?”

Hazel “I am not going to go against the public if that’s what they wanted to see me do. That is fair enough from what they have seen. It would be unwise to go against a nation. So if they think I am a snake then that is fine I will wear the outfit and I have. I can’t say I have enjoyed it but I will do whatever is needed of me.”

She is nasty inside and out...

If Hazel had any idea as to why the hateful viewers want to see her punished she could defend herself, BB will not offer her any support so she will have to continue being bullied till she cops on and refuses to allow the bullying to continue, or, BB has been [rightly] accused of allowing her to be in danger in the safe house where she was nearly head-butted and threatened with further physical abuse...I hope her agent has a lawyer ready on eviction night.

Gina saying what Dexter said about here was nasty, she needs to hear from BB on all the nasty things she has said about housmates.
