DAILY UPDATE: DAY 58
Key highlights from tonight’s show:
• Charlie, Dexter, Hazel, Jack & Joe and Sophie wake up to what could be their last day in the house.
• After last night war of words, Gina and Hazel have another argument while using the bedroom mirrors.
• In the diary room Charlie tells Big Brother about the new argument and has decided to “reserve all your judgements (about people) until you get out.”
• Gina and Joe discuss pub food; she tells him that she would like to try in one day and Joe mentions her high standards.
• Gina tells Sophie that she, Jack & Joe will be the first ones saved from the public vote tonight, Dexter might be okay, “but Hazel and Charlie, they should be worried.”
• Dexter reflects on his time in the house; he tells Hazel and Charlie that people who do not accept you for who you are,” Don’t deserve to be in your life in the first place.”
• Jack asks Sam about his hearing disability; Sam reveals he has worn hearing aids since he was 3 years old.
• Hazel is the seventh housemate to be evicted; Gina celebrates while the twins are clearly upset.
• Later in the kitchen, Dexter tells Charlie that her make up made her eyes look “lovely” tonight, “You should do it more often.”

• Joe tells Jack and Sam that Hazel will be telling all her Twitter fans to vote to evict “a certain person.”
Key quotes from tonight’s show
1. Jack tells Dexter about Gina and Hazel’s latest spat.
Joe “Gina was calling her a man-stealer, I think it’s all getting a little bit immature now, if I’m honest.”
Dexter There’s a maximum of another week and three days to live with each other and then they don’t have to possible see each other ever again”
2. Hazel is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about Gina.
Hazel “She’s a scheming manipulative little weasel, I’ve just had enough of her, I’m not holding back if I’ve got something to say. She irritates the hell out of me, I wish she was gone. If it’s my time to go I’m just gonna have to face what’s out there.”
3. In the bedroom Gina tells Sophie and Charlie that Hazel deliberately directed the hair dryer and spritz spray toward her resulting in their argument.
Gina “It’s like she wanted to kill me or fight me, then she was like ‘do you mind’ like a little rude-girl from the ‘hood. I don’t remember what I even said but she was just so nasty. It’s really hard living with someone so ghetto.”
4. Joe and Hazel are in the garden eating custard and discussing the show.
Hazel “I would love to see you two win it so much. If Gina gets it I’ll lose faith in all the public.”
Joe “When you think about what you’re actually scared off, well I know I am, it’s not the crowd or anything like that, it’s going back to real life.”
Hazel “No, I love the fact of going back to real life, I love earning, I love being independent. My biggest fair is just walking out the door to a bad reception and my mum having to see it, that’s all I care about.”
5. Dexter has come to the diary room for a chat. Big Brother asks him how things are between Gina and Hazel.
Dexter “I think Hazel is definitely the devil, Gina’s an angel, but a naughty little angel. Charlie doesn’t know who to believe, she’s torn between the devil and the angel so to speak. I’m definitely team Gina, I’m not team Hazel. I’m just here to stay out of trouble and get less and less nominations every week.”
6. In the kitchen Sam teaches Jack how to make the perfect cheese sauce. The conversation
turns to Sam’s disability and he explains how his parents discovered he was deaf.
Sam “I used to jump on my sister’s back and pull her hair like that (demonstrates) and they used to be like ‘Sam get off!’ and I just use to ignore them. Then I went to a hearing test, when they called my name I used to go like that (turns) but I was just a hyper baby, they used to think I could f**king hear them (laughs).”
Jack “I didn’t even know that you were (deaf) when we first came in here I just thought you had a really strong Welsh accent.”
7. Housemates are gathered to hear the results of the eviction. Hazel is the seventh
housemate to be evicted and leaves the Big Brother house. Charlie hugs Joe.
Dexter “I can’t believe it; I’m here until the final week, unbelievable.”
Charlie (hugs) “Love you mad Dex. That is unbelievable, you’re turning into the person I think you always wanted to be.”
Gina (Laughs) “This night couldn’t’ get any better.”
8. In the diary room The Twins are disappointed at the lack of housemates who cheered Hazel off from the bottom of the stairs like they have done for previous evictees.
Joe “When she looked back and she blew us a kiss, oh my s**t I was nearly gone.”
Jack “So was I, it was like that final scene out of Titanic.”
9. Gina is in the diary room, she tells Big Brother that she is “glad” but “shocked” to still be
in the house, despite wanting to leave on the first night.
Gina “People realise I’m not stuck up, yeah I enjoy a great lifestyle but I’m not stuck up enjoy my life, I like to have fun, that’s what life is all about, I’m just so happy especially (because) the b***h is gone.”
