Day 58: Life after Hazel

"Oh my God we are going to experience the final week of big Brother 2013!" squealed Charlie. You are indeed Charlie, Dexter, Gina, Jack and Joe, Sam and Sophie – unless Big Brother has another twist planned.

But what about your on/off BFF? Hazel has left the House and typically housemates dedicated a few moments to remembering the housemate that was Hazel O'Sullivan. Long time rival Gina couldn't contain herself: "I'm so happy. Thank you public," she purred. Other housemates were more sensitive, with Joe musing "I miss her already..."

Charlie pointed out that this means there are now three girls and three boys (well, actually, four, seeing as the twins are actually two people) left. While her counting skills were a little lacklustre, she's right to point it out: this means that at this point, we've an equal chance of a queen or king of Big Brother 2013.

Sartorial chat has already started, with Charlie saying "I really want to go out in rocky boots next week" and Joe saying "innit funny how quick we all get unchanged?" pointing out how quickly the housemates shrug out of their finery following evictions.

Of course, these housemates are well-trained by Big Brother's incessant secrets and lies, with Sam mumbling "there's gotta be a twist..."

Well, Sam, you're right. The housemates will do their final nominations on Monday and, because last week's friends and family nombomb wasn't incendiary enough, they'll be doing it face to face.

Day 58: Does Hazel's eviction spell a Gam reunion?

They've had a few nice little chats over the past few weeks, but the pairing we like to refer to as 'Gam' (OK, we admit it needs work) have drifted apart recently. Well, you know, Gina's been busy sniping with her nemesis Hazel, after all.

But this evening, after the dust settled from Hazel's eviction, Gam got chatty in the garden.

Gina was quick to admit that Hazel's eviction put her in good spirits, saying "I was like...'YES!'" to which Sam responded "I thought you were gonna go flying! Whooooosh!" which is a nice way of saying that Gina openly showed her joy in front of Hazel. "Hmmm, it's been a good night" said Gina brightly.

Talk then turned to life after Big Brother. That's right, they're reverting to that BB classic and making plans to hang out when all this is over. Gina was musing which of her mates she might bring to post-final parties, and Sam had similar concerns. He was worried about which of his friends to bring to "meet the likes of you girls." Do they not have ladies like Gina, Charlie, Hazel and Sophie in the Valleys, Sam?

So, now that Gina isn't being distracted by the presence of her nemesis, will she turn to Sam for a bit of friend-tastic bonding? We sure hope so; we like Gam.

This from the man who is so ambitious he will not think twice to discredit a person, lie and use women/men with not an ounce of concern for they welfare.
Both him and Gina tried to blacken Hazel's name with not a thought of the danger they were putting her in, even when they heard the reception she was getting from the loons on eviction night they never reconsidered the tactics they were using to get her evicted, oh no, they upped their assault on her when they had their DR visits. Horrible, horrible people!

Day 60: Sam - 'I'm scared about going back to reality'

Day 62: How Tweet it is to be called 'sly' by the viewers

If you follow us on Twitter (and really, why wouldn't you? We're delightful!) then you might recall that a few days ago we asked for people to tell us who their fave housemate was, and why, via the hashtag #faveHM. Of course, our amazing followers got well and truly stuck in, and the best of the best were selected earlier today to be beamed into the House as a reward for an earlier task success.

For a nice long look at the housemates reading their Tweets, watch this space: we'll have a lovely video up later. In the meantime, let's talk about Gina, shall we?

You see, one of the Tweets we received for Ms Travers said, "Charlie as she now understands how sly Gina is." Surely you know enough about the housemates by now, and Gina and Charlie's relationship in particular, to know that this comment did not go ignored.

As soon as the Tweets had been read out, Charlie set to work trying to explain herself to Gina, as Gina coolly listened. It seems that Charlie thinks this might all stem from a conversation she had with our most recent evictee, Hazel, in which Hazel reported back to Charlie all the things Gina had said about her during that big fall-out. She explained; "I think that they watched that chat, and Hazel said all the stuff you said that night," but then had a second thought, adding, "either that, or they just don't like you!" Ahhhh, Charlie, ever the diplomat!

Gina appeared to agree, telling Sophie, "Either she was bitching about me with Hazel, calling me sly, or someone doesn't like me." She laughed it off, but we're never sure with this lot; this disagreement could resurface at any time.

Up in rescue squad HQ, Jack and Dexter chatted about the offending Tweet, with Dexter musing, "The Gina sly one was a bit awkward. I'm not going to lie. It went down like a lead balloon. Maybe it was from Hazel."

Hmm. Maybe, Dex. Or, much more specifically, definitely not.

Gina was as nasty as anything to Hazel & probably was the one who initially turned the public against Hazel, but can't seem to take anything at all nasty said about herself. All the nasty things Hazel had to put up with & dealt with very well, Gina would never have coped so well the other way round.

She really does think of herself as the Queen Bee who can do no wrong.
