DAILY UPDATE: DAY 1

Key highlights from tonight’s show:


• The newly improved Big Brother house comes alive once again as the celebrities enter the house.
• Louie, Lauren and Sophie are the first three housemates to enter the house. They are then called to the diary room to become the Cult of Celebrity.
• Sophie comments that Charlotte will be sweet and Louie says she will freak the Americans out.
• All the housemates are now in the house and the drinking begins, especially Charlotte. Vicky tells her that the alcohol is for everyone and for her to slow down.
• Sophie tells her other Cult members that she likes Carol’s outfit and that she thinks she will be fun. Lauren says she is not sure about Carol.
• Celebrities in the main house are told they must pick the two most famous, Bruce and Vicky are chosen as they were on Coronation Street, the two most famous must sleep in the garden in a four poster bed for one night.
• Ron, Mario and Charlotte are trying to explain to Courtney where in the UK they are from; they go on to explain Newcastle girls.
• The bedroom becomes unlocked and housemates choose their beds. Courtney is confused and thought they would be allocated. Ron suggests that the girls pick first. Nobody hears him.
• Charlotte tells Courtney that she will be her wing woman as she wants someone to drink with. Courtney says ‘the blonde is the perfect one to get drunk with’.
• Sophie watching through the all seeing eye asks why Courtney is so high pitched her other American friends don’t sound like that.
• Courtney is dismayed to find her shampoo has leaked all over her stuffed bunny. Abz helps her put it through the mangle. It bursts and Mario offers to sew it up for her as he is a tailor.
• Vicky is with Courtney and Bruce in the bathroom trying on Courtney’s 6inch stilettos that she calls her slippers.
• Vicky and Bruce are inspecting their bed in the garden and find the stuffed bunny has left a wet patch on the bed. Courtney is apologetic for leaving it there.
• Ceremony of judgement takes place and the Cult pick three celebrities they are considering for eviction. Louie chooses Ron, Sophie chooses Courtney and Lauren chooses Carol.
• Abz, Dustin and Carol are talking about how they are going to use their time in the house. Carol thinks they need to make the most of tonight as tomorrow in the house it will all kick off.
• Sophie and Louie are in the garden discussing their nomination choices.
• Vicky and Bruce get into bed and remark that they look like the Battersby’s.

1. Charlotte and Courtney are admiring the four poster bed in the garden that Vicky and Bruce must sleep in tonight.

Vicky “There is no way we are going to sleep in…well there is a roof on it in case it rains.”

Charlotte “I suppose it will be like massive air con.”

Courtney “This is like Marilyn Monroe looking, look at these pillows.”

2. Louie and Sophie are talking about Courtney.

Louie “Oh she is so porn…he (Ron) is looking at her boobs.”

Sophie “He is an older gentleman and she is wearing a very short dress, of course he is going to look.”

Louie “Oh babe of course you would…They are like two footballs and that is what he is used to.”

3. The Cult of Celebrity is in the diary room.

Big Brother “Who are you most looking forward to meeting?”

Lauren “No one…Sorry but I don’t want to meet them, stay in there. Good.”

Louie “Charlotte because I have never watched Geordie Shore because I don’t have MTV or cable…I like Carol.”

Lauren “I think Carol could come off a bit aggressive though. I am not looking forward to meeting Carol.”

Sophie “Darling she will be charmed personified to you.”

4. Charlotte is in the diary room giving Big Brother her views on her fellow housemates.

Charlotte “I am a bit scared of some people…Vicky. Because she told us I wasn’t allowed another drink. I just think she is a bit of a stupid cow. I dunno. I love everyone but first impressions I thought Vicky was a bit hard on us.”

5. Carol is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about Courtney.

Carol “I can’t get my head around Courtney, I just can’t. I have never seen anyone like her. She is like a real life Cindy doll. She is completely out of proportion. Tiny tiny legs, tiny hips and the tiniest waist and the biggest t*ts I have ever seen.”

6. Courtney is talking to Ron about her marriage.

Courtney “I have been married for 3 years. It was quite the controversy. I was 16 to a 50 year old Hollywood actor. It was like an international media storm…it went crazy.”

Ron “You still married?”

Courtney “Yes, our 3 year anniversary is coming soon. Obviously we are doing something right. I mean love is love. Regardless of gender and age. Love is love wherever you find it I am accepting of that…I was disappointed of the backlash that I got. People thought I was a gold-digger and I was marrying him for Hollywood…quite frankly I could marry so many more men with so much more money than him.”

7. Mario in the diary room talking about Carol.

Mario “She has got amazing legs for an older woman. Amazing. Her legs are the ideal legs on a woman. It is weird for me. When I am out with my friends they are all boys. Carol is completely different for me, she has come in tonight and got proper p***ed. She is engaged to a 31 year old which means I am 6 years out. If her engagement doesn’t work out. Carol I am single and I am a changed man. There has been a few moments tonight where something could have happened but she is an engaged woman.”

Mario, Carol and Charlotte know each other so their acting like they don't is ridiculous.
I think they have turned up the volume on Courtney's mike to annoy the viewers. Just wish they would turn down the volume of Charlotte's mike so we don't hear her potty mouth try to normalize her sexual/toilet adventures...
I give it a week before Lauren Harris is removed from the house after she has a breakdown of sorts.
