DAILY UPDATE: DAY 3
Key highlights from tonight’s show:
Last night the Cult of Celebrity entered the main house and chose Ron to face the public vote. Later tonight they will be nominating a second housemate.
Mario tells Bruce that he didn’t like it when the new housemates entered the house.
Courtney tells Big Brother that she adores all her housemates and that she will find it hard to nominate. She says her and Lauren get along very well, as do Ron and Bruce.
Vicky tells Lauren that she left Corrie because she wanted to play different characters.
In the tree house, Dustin reveals to Abz he’s so glad he’s on the show and he wants to see it through to the end. Abz says it’s up to the public and he should stay true to himself.
Mario is making bread and Ron tells him that he will put money on Mario to win when he leaves the house. Ron reveals he misses punditry.
Carol, Sophie, Vicky and Charlotte reveal that they are fascinated by Courtney and Lauren.
Lauren changes into a black evening dress and tells Louie she’ll change outfits again in around an hour’s time, Louie says, ‘I can’t wait, I’ll look forward to it’.
On the sofas, Courtney tells Lauren she was signed to a top modelling agency at the age of 12. Lauren reveals she started on TV at 10 years old; Dustin adds he started TV when he was eight years old. Lauren continues to say she is ‘multi talented and there’s a lot she can do as she’s studied a lot’.
Vicky jokes to Mario that she will borrow shoes from Lauren as she has so many with her, Mario observes that she changes clothes a lot.
Sophie is in the diary room and believes the Cult have gotten away with their secret task. She wants to make more of an effort with Courtney and she’s baffled why Danielle is on Big Brother. Sophie admits she doesn’t want Ron to leave and will plead with the public not to vote him out.
For today’s task Guess What?, Big Brother has provided each housemate with three interesting facts about themselves, they must correctly guess which fact Big Brother’s online viewers deem most interesting.
Some interesting facts that featured in today’s task include: Carol was celibate for seven years prior to meeting her partner Mark, Louie is best friends with Emma Bunton and she has bought him a Rolex watch and Cartier bracelet, Courtney turned down a $5 million porn offer a month ago, and before coming into the house, Lauren did not want to live with the character Les Battersby.
It’s now time for Louie, Lauren and Sophie to nominate a second housemate to face the first public vote. Louie selects Abz because he’s quite a closed and contained person, Sophie selects Danielle because she hasn’t been in the public eye and won’t gain anything from this experience, and Lauren selects Courtney as she is quite well off and doesn’t need the exposure as much as other housemates.
After much deliberation, the Cult of Celebrity decides to nominate Danielle.
In the garden, Carol and Charlotte agree that Lauren wants to win the most.
Louie tells Abz that his autobiography was all his words and Abz reveals that he can’t remember half of his life nor previously meeting Louie. Louie tells Abz he has changed since their last meeting.
Sophie and Lauren agree that Abz needs to stay and deserves this break and that Courtney and Danielle don’t lack confidence.
Big Brother gathers housemates to reveal the second housemate - ‘chosen by viewers’ – is Danielle to face the public vote. She reveals it’s a horrible feeling and ‘it is what it is’.
Sophie apologises to Danielle about her being up for eviction, Carol says it’s not your fault, why are you apologising?
In the garden, Sophie tells Mario she doesn’t trust what Big Brother says.
In the toilet, Louie compliments Courtney on her boobs. ‘They look really nice, they are not stupidly big and they feel good too. They are really nice, congratulations, nice tits!’
Abz tells Danielle and Courtney that he didn’t want 5ive to split up and that they were never millionaires. He continues to say he did all his growing up away from his family and he’s happy to be here right now.
Sophie tells Vicky and Mario that Carol doesn’t need to go under the knife, and her skin is amazing. Vicky says Carol has made up her mind.
In the tree house, Carol reveals to Charlotte and Louie that Sophie ‘is driving her nuts and has a know-it-all attitude’. Charlotte thinks Sophie doesn’t know when to stop.
harlotte, Carol and Louie are talking in the living area; Carol thinks Charlotte’s TV show is like ‘paying for porn’.

Danielle “I’m sad I’ve been nominated, I wouldn’t like it to be over too early. I’m not surprised as I’m not really known. I’ve been very open, what you see is what you get; I’ve made an effort to chat to people. They haven’t even asked me about my family…I’m not crying about my nomination, I’m crying about my little boy…they haven’t even asked, that’s my most important job. Some people are very much into themselves, but that’s OK.”
2. One of Carol’s facts from the task said she wanted plastic surgery, Sophie is offering her some advice.
Sophie “Now back to this whole facelift bl**dy thing…”

Sophie “Do it but only do it subtly…I want to introduce you to this amazing woman, this is my area of expertise…knowing the right people. She’s incredible, you don’t need the full shebang.”
Carol “I’m not going to have the full shebang, I know what I’m getting.”

Carol “I don’t want to look younger, I want to look like me without the droopiness.”

Carol “I may chicken out…I’m worried about waking up and looking like some freak.”

Carol “Of course he does! He doesn’t want me to have facelift.”
