DAILY UPDATE: DAY 12

Key highlights from tonight’s show:

After the nominations results the night before Mario cheers up Sophie and Vicky in the bedroom telling them he is unable to get out of bed for 15 minutes as he has morning glory.

Shopping task ‘The Prisoners’ begins with Mr Big talking to the house, revealing he has taken Mario, Lauren and Carol hostage.

After seeing Lauren accuse Abz of nominating her, Louie tells the others that she also accused him of nominating her and then backtracked when he said he hadn’t.
In the luxury task room, Carol and Lauren are discussing whether Big Brother has put the two of them together as Lauren drives Carol crazy.

For giving away all her clothes and Doug bunny, Courtney gets to see Doug (her husband) for a few minutes whilst he is tied up in the small task room.
In the luxury task room, Mario and Carol are talking about how much they are strangely missing Charlotte being around.

Bruce and Dustin are in the kitchen discussing that they believed it would be more relaxing in the house and they would have a much easier time than it has been so far.

Courtney is moaning about her overalls and hairnet that Big Brother has given her to wear. Dustin tells her she looks good in everything she wears and Vicky remarks that it is nice to see her covered up for once.

Key quotes from tonight’s show

1. Sophie and Vicky talking about Sophie’s reaction the night before when she found out that she was nominated.

Sophie “I think I was just overtired. I should have slept in the afternoon. I knew that would happen.”

Vicky “The thing is, yeah but that is what they do it for to wind you up. You’ve just got to try and keep remembering that…you wear your heart on your sleeve and you are easy pickings.”

2. Lauren asks Abz about his nomination of her, however he didn’t nominate her.

Lauren “So what was going on with my nominations?”

Abz “What do you mean?”

Lauren “You said a few things didn’t you? In the nominations.”

Abz “I didn’t nominate you.”

Lauren “Aww, I got it wrong I’m sorry. I thought you wouldn’t nominate me.”

3. Lauren is exercising in the garden talking to Carol.

Lauren “If I get evicted you’ll miss me wont you?”

Carol “Yeah course I will.”

Lauren “But I am not going to get evicted because I pray to god and to my fans that I won’t.”

Carol “I’ll pray for you Lauren.”

Lauren “No idea who did try to evict me last night. But I will just watch the re-runs and find out. I know my memory is cr*p but when I do find out, I’ll stalk you. Abz, I’ll stalk you too. I will find out your address and stalk you.”

Abz “Oh s**t. I’m scared now.”

Lauren “And you’ll never ever have a sane life again! I’m only joking.”

4. Abz is talking to Courtney about his reasons for nominating her this week.

Courtney “What part of me made you think that I was superficial? What part of my front should I say? Because that is not me…It’s funny to me, because I am not that.”

Abz “Just things and stuff I thought was more important to you than real connections with people…I just presume because like when I did the LA thing, I just kind of thought you were just one of them. Typical stuff girls.”

Courtney “Because of how I am treated sometimes by men looking and lusting sometimes…I just get a little bit protective of myself.”

Abz “But that is like a defence mechanism. You play a role…You have to protect that heart.”

5. Bruce and Vicky are talking about life in the house whilst sitting in the kitchen.

Vicky “I am just exhausted listening to sh*t all day long. My patience is running out now.”

Bruce “There is nowhere to hide.”

Vicky “The thing is I am trying to take it as it happens but you can’t, because you are sat next to someone who is just dragging you down all the time. It is so difficult…you just get some people that are energy vampires. It makes it 100 times worse.”

Bruce “Yeah it does. We shouldn’t try and pre-empt these people.”

6. Mario is talking to Lauren whilst they get ready for bed about how he thinks the public will react to her.

Mario “I think you will do very well from this. I think people will see that there is a lot more to you than what meets the eye…that people will be intrigued by and that doesn’t happen a lot…I think you have got like a naiveté’s that resembles that of a child. Not that you are childish, but the way you see the world, I think you see it in that sort of way. Innocence. Which I think is nice.”

Lauren “There are too many grown ups in the world.”

Mario “Yeah. Like a modern day Peter Pan. That is not a bad way to be.”

They cut iut most of the vileness Lauren aimed at Courtney and how Viky saved the day with a belt and a pep talk re Courtney wearing the oil soaked boiler suit.

Mario is sinking in everyones books now, he has gunned for Bruce for Sophie his so called best mate and fallen in with the vile ones who would have no hesitation in turning on him than blinking,

Sophie is still no getting it that Mario is an enemy not a mate and will be gone wednesday

Carole, Louie, Mario and Charlotte are nasty pieces of work. They are cruel, patronizing and have ego's the size of a the deluded individual they appeal to.

Vickie is starting to grow on me, she stands up for herself and points out the unnecessary nasty comments that certain housemates say.
