Unfortunately, Sam wasn't very good on Saturday, but he was good one week when Gary ran him down. I feel really sorry for him. He's only young & it's like Gary is bullying him, the way he talks to him each week. He is really nasty to him. It's enough to make anyone lose their confidence. He tries really hard as well. Sam was bullied at school, so I think Gary is being a bit harsh on him. Gary wants to win this year, as it is his last year & he sees the young boys as a threat to his groups, as he feels they will get the teenage girl votes (especially a good looking one like Sam), so that means his groups miss out. Admittedly, Sam hasn't got the best voice & he is the first to admit that, but like he says, this isn't The Voice, it's the X Factor. It's about the whole package I think. He is a songwriter as well & can dance & has the looks. I bet he would be able to sell records, even if he isn't the greatest singer. Look at Gary Barlow's friend Robbie Williams for example. He is not that great a singer, but he is a good entertainer. So I think Gary should remember that & not keep going on at a young boy, who is at an impressionable age. He is only doing it for selfish reasons. I have really gone off Gary this year.
