DAILY UPDATE: DAY 5
Kimberly tells Big Brother that she’s bonded with Danielle adding, “She’s quite a sweet girl and it’s really nice to have someone like that in the House”
Marlon says to Winston and Tamara that they “would make a good couple…”
Jale tells Ashleigh she has a “good feeling” about nominations
Toya talks to Big Brother about the nomination process, saying “we know something’s going to happen today…I think maybe, when we go into the later evening, there will be tension”
Danielle talks to Jale about last night’s bad language saying she finds it “disrespectful” and “so irritating”
Today’s task sees Housemates go head to head to win back their suitcases. Jale and Kimberly are the first to compete in the category of ‘most sexy’ with remaining Housemates voting Jale the winner much to Kimberly’s chagrin after their performance. The Housemates observe that “Kimberly’s fuming”
· Ashleigh and Chris are the next to compete in the category of ‘most weird’ with Chris winning the title for his funny expressions
· Finally, Marlon and Ash compete against Toya and Tamara to win the title of ‘most disgusting’. After covering themselves in a mixture of foul smelling and gross items including ox tongues, cuttlefish and yeast extract, the girls walk away victorious, with Toya crying “Big Brother, you know I’ve got hygiene issues…I’m traumatised”
· Mark feels regretful about nominating Jale, telling Big Brother, “After nominating her yesterday…seeing how funny she was in the challenge; that’s the kind of person I want to be around…I think she could be really funny…a bit of a joker”
· Pauline, Ash and Steven discuss what Big Brother has in store for them in the evening. Pauline comments, “I like the power when I can share stuff with people. However, there are times when it’s fu*king easy…I can’t say much till after tonight…but it will kick off grand style”
· Big Brother reveals the results of nominations. Danielle, Jale and Tamara will all face the public vote
· Pauline chose Jale for her Killer Nomination, saying “there are 16 of us here and 16 of us that eat. As it stands at the moment, she doesn’t do anything at all except get to the kitchen, get something to eat and bog off again.” Jale responds to the news with a laugh and remains calm
· Pauline’s reign of Power is now over and Big Brother tells Housemates that over the next few days, the Power will return to the house, but the identity of the new Power Housemate will remain secret
· Jale reflects on her Killer Nomination from Pauline saying, “I’m not going to lie, I’m gutted but if someone’s got a bit of a sense of humour about it, that will do for me”
· Winston tells the Housemates that Danielle plans to tell them what she thinks of them when she leaves the House. Steven adds that she said she was nominated “just because I didn’t act like a fu*king sl*g”. Helen then confronts Danielle over what she said to Pauline
· Danielle cries in the Dairy Room telling Big Brother, “I shouldn’t have done that, man…I just lost it….did not handle that well…God would probably want me to go and apologise to the whole blo*dy group that nominated me….I’ll apologise and move on but can I not just go home?”
· Kimberly, Ashleigh and Christopher discuss Danielle. Ashleigh says, “I kept telling her to keep it classy and keep your morals high and keep the public knowing that you are a lady and she just…I was so shocked”
· Helen jokes, “Fu*king hell, can you imagine her (Danielle) phone bill when I’m up for eviction?!” Jale tells Steven, “I’m used to people not getting me or knowing what I’m about”
· Pauline and Jale discuss the Killer Nomination. Pauline explains that she thinks Jale isn’t a team player saying, “to a degree, you put yourself in the firing line…you made it easy for me”
· Danielle tells Kimberly and Ashleigh that she “didn’t say the sl*g thing” but Kimberly disagrees
· Jale opens up to Toya, Marlon and Pauline tearfully saying, “I’m not playing the victim here”
· Chris tells Big Brother that “Jale and myself are definitely not Pauline’s cup of tea…she’s too much…its like ‘shut the f*ck up’!”
· Kimberly tries to act as peace maker between Helen and Danielle. Helen says, “I’m done with her” and refuses Danielle’s apology

1. Danielle talks to Jale about bad language in the House:
Danielle: “Lads will be lads. I ain’t got a problem with lads talking about that but its when, firstly women are talking about it in such a degrading manner and secondly, when there’s a group of people that are trying to get in on the conversation. So next time it happens I’m going to just take myself away from the situation, and that’s it. But if this is going to be a regular thing, I ain’t going to sit back and say nothing…I can’t do that.”
Jale: “You’ve got two very different opinions there; where as she wants to talk about it and you don’t…there has to be a middle ground.”
Danielle: “Everyone’s going to clash at some point…that’s just what’s going to happen”
Jale: “It depends who you are…”
Danielle: “Do you honestly believe that in this House, however many days or weeks to come, people are not going to clash?”
Jale: “I believe that they will, but I believe that there are always other alternatives to just throwing yourself into a situation and making it blow up about fifty times over and then feeling bad…”
Danielle: “I ain’t got a problem; I’ve not got a problem blowing things up, to be honest.”
Jale: “I don’t have a problem. I could sit here and literally just pounded people to death as soon as I walked in her but I don’t want to have a sh*t experience…”
Danielle: “But I’m not having a sh*t experience! I wouldn’t even let them affect my experience of it because I can go out and have a laugh with the girls and you, and the rest of it. But I’m not going to stoop to that level…I just find it so disrespectful and it’s just so irritating.”

Danielle: “Fu*king raging, man…imagine people laughing”
Ashleigh: “It’s because everyone was so nervous”

Danielle: “It’s alright, these things happen. If I go on Friday, I’m going to tell everyone what I think of them and then walk out! To be honest, it’s a fu*king joke.”
Steven: “Danielle, don’t worry about nothing; you ain’t going nowhere.”
Pauline: “come here, listen…”
Danielle: “It’s because I’m not f*king talking about this and being a fu*king sl*g…I bet that’s what it’s about.”
3. Helen speaks to Danielle about her earlier comments:
Helen: “Danielle, can I speak to you a second? Is that why you think you’re up? Because you’re the only person that doesn’t act like a sl*g? Do you think everyone else acts like a sl*g apart from you”
Danielle: “Did I say that?”
Helen: “Apparently, that’s what’s been said in the garden.”

Helen: “Where’ve they just got that from then? Apparently you’re saying that about the girls?”

Helen: “Do you want me to go and bring them in and ask them?”

Danielle: “No, what I said was, ‘I got nominated because I don’t talk about blah, blah, blah…’that’s what I said”

Kimberly: (To Helen) “I just spoke to her (Danielle) and she feels really bad. She knows she was in the wrong, she really wants to apologise…how do you feel about that?”
Helen: “Nope. Done with her…done. Kimberly, I don’t mean that towards you.”
Kimberly: “I just don’t like the tension”
Helen: “Even if she apologised for what she said first, fair enough. She then went on to say the class thing. That’s her opinion on me. I’m nowhere near as classy as that person around the corner…I don’t want to speak to her. Do you know what? I like people who are truthful. Don’t stand there and lie to my face when I’ve just asked you a question. All she had to do was ‘Helen, can we just speak about this somewhere private…’”
Kimberly: “I’m just trying to help…”
Helen: “Her opinion is…she’s just turned around to me and said, ‘go and get some class’. If I’m not classy enough to be spoken to, I’m certainly not classy enough to warrant an apology.”
Danielle: “Helen…look, can I speak to you?”
Helen: “No…apparently I have no class…you can’t speak to someone that has no class”
Danielle: “What are you talking about?”
Helen: “Are you going to deny you said that now as well?! You just stood there and told me I had no class. Why would you want to apologise to someone you think doesn’t have any class?”
Danielle: “Listen. You came out…”
Helen: “I can’t listen. I know your opinion of me and other people, or whatever it meant. You just turned around when I went in to ask the question. Your response, ‘I have no class’. Why the fu*k would you want to apologise to someone who has no class? I don’t want your apology…stick it up your fu*king ar*e!”
