Anyone heard of these? My son got one in a party bag last week. Its like a stretchy rubber string with a spikey rubber ball on the end filled with a white substance. I threw it out on the quiet recently as I was worried it would burst....well anyway, good thing I did cos my boyfriend just phoned to say it's been withdrawn from sale as 2 kids have strangled themselves with them.
So if anyone's kids have them the get rid ASAP.

My 6-year old daughter keeps asking for an "Ugly Yo Yo". Her description matches the "liquid Yo Yo" that your son described. She said that they are available in the games section at Homebase. They don't stock them.

We promised to look for one tomorrow, I'll let you know how I get on.

I saw an article in the paper about them Heidi, saying DON'T buy them because of the danger of strangulation. I know I wouldn't buy one for my son.

I've got one of these, my best friend bought them for her kids and thought I would like one (that's an insult isn't it?

) but will tell her to take them away from them

Was convinced for a long time that it was a sex aid. Was describing it to someone and said, it's bright blue, made of rubber and there's a long bit that has a soft ball covered with spikes attached to it :-?

Lol yeah well when I first saw it it reminded me of something like that....a bit like an alien testicle!

I have one from aggeeessss ago... theyre kinda fun, and it has a smiley face on it, hehe... anyways, I dont see whats so decent about them... at least yoyo's were cool... unless you stood behind someoen who spun it round there head... always made a rather scary cracking sound....

They have been banned in the UK now, so no need to worry, a young girl had one which exploded in her face, caused an allergic reaction and made her swell up.... it nearly killed her....

Even tho they r now banned theyre still selling them on my local market! :evil:

I aught to report them.

stupid as far as Im concerned. we should ban string and elastic and well everything really, remember someone trying to choke me with a conker on string, no one banned them did they?
