Blackadder actress Patsy Byrne has died aged 80.

The veteran star - who played Nursie in the second series of the iconic comedy - passed away on June 17 at Denville Hall retirement home in London.

The official Blackadder Facebook page has a post paying tribute to the late actress - who died less than a month after her co-star Rik Mayall - describing her as an 'amazing' talent.
