Day 35: Task - Coupled Up
Housemates will be spending their day with their perfect partner but the pairings might not be to everyone's liking because it's task time.

Big Brother will match up the housemates according to a compatibility test they completed before entering the House.

Based on a compatibility test, the Housemates are paired up and compete against each other. At the end of the day the best-performing four couples are invited to a love-themed party in the Living Area. The other two couples are barred.

HOW IT WORKS
At the beginning of the day the Housemates are given half of a heart-shaped coloured pendant. Housemates determine their pair by matching up their halves of the pendant. Those couples are paired up for the rest of the day and compete to win entry to the party.

THE PARTY
Four of the best performing couples will enjoy a romantic themed party, with prom-style outfits, heart-shaped food and romantic songs for them to slow dance to. The losing four will be barred. We will also dress the Pod as a Love Nest – a luxury romantic snug for two. The pair who were most successful during the day’s two hits will be crowned the ‘Perfect Match’ and will gain entry to the Love Nest.

HITS

1) COLOUR OF LOVE
Each couple has a giant oblong paint tray matching the colour of their heart pendant. At the other end of the garden there is a canvas. The couples play one at a time and have one minute each. One of the couple must cover themselves in as much of their coloured paint as possible and run to their partner who is behind a half way line. They must transfer the paint onto their partner without crossing the line and without using their hands; their partner must then cover the canvas in their paint colour. Big Brother will judge which pair has done the best and worst job

2) MATCH MAKERS
How well do the couples know each other’s views? This is a Mr and Mrs-style task about their time in the house. The five remaining couples come to the Diary Room one pair at a time. One Housemate has headphones on; the other is asked a series of questions (e.g. Which Housemate do you most want to leave next? Who should have had Jale’s killer nomination?) Then the other housemate takes their headphones off and is asked the same questions and must attempt to copy the answer given by their partner. The couple who get the least number of matching answers aren’t invited to the party.

HIT ONE: THE COLOUR OF LOVE

In the Colour Of Love, Housemates had to put paint on each other to paint a canvas.

Results:

As Christopher and Mark were last they did not receive an invite to the party.


HIT TWO: Mental Match

In Mental Match Housemates had to answer questions based on what they think their partner would answer.

For Chris and Ashleigh, Ashleigh was asked questions and Chris answered them,


1. Which male Housemate do you find the most attractive? She answered Mark and Chris answered Mark.
2. Do you think you and Helen could ever be friends? Ashleigh answered No and Chris answered no.
3. What is Chris’s most attractive feature? Ashleigh answered eyes. Chris answered personality.



For Jale and Winston, Winston was asked questions and then Jale answered them.

1. Do you fancy Danielle? Winston answered No. Jale answered Yes.
2. Do you trust Marlon? Winston answered No. Jale answered No.
3. What is your best physical feature? Winston answered Biceps and Jale answered arms. (given as correct)

For Kimberly and Marlon, Kimberly was asked questions and then Marlon answered them,

Questions to Kimberly

1. Does Marlon regret his decision with the safety app? Kimberly answered Yes and Marloncolio answered Yes.
2. Will you marry Steven? Kimberly answered Yes and Marlon answered No.
3. Which housemate did you find most attractive when you first entered the house? Kimberly answered Steven, Marlon answered Steven..

For Steven and Danielle, Danielle was asked questions and Steven answered them.

1. Are Steven and Kimberly a good match? Danielle answered Yes and Steven answered Yes.
2. Would any housemate make you question your belief in no sex before marriage? Danielle answered yes, Steven answered no. Danielle misunderstood the question.
3. Who is the most gentlemanly housemate? Danielle answered Steven, Steven answered Chris

The last couple to take part were Ash and Helen. Ash answered the questions and Helen guessed those answers.

1. Who is the best looking housemate? Ash said himself. Helen said Me. She misunderstood the question.
2. Do you think Ashleigh and Helen could be friends? Ash said no. Helen said no.
3 If you could shave one Housemates eyebrow, who would it be? Ash said Marlon. Helen said Ashleigh.

The lowest scoring couples in the task were Steven and Danielle and Helen and Ash. As it was a tie the decision was based on their performance in the first task, so Steven and Danielle lost their place at the party. The winning couple at the end of this task were Jale and Winston.

The couple that won overall and became the ‘perfect match’ were Winston and Jale. They gained access to the love nest.
