Scottish Independence Supporters Demand Sacking Of BBC Political Editor Nick Robinson

The last weekend before the Scottish independence referendum is a crucial campaigning time - time to doorknock, leaflet and, of course, call for the resignation of the BBC's political editor Nick Robinson.

Polls say the vote on Thursday is too close to call.

With just four days to go, protestors decided the best way to seal victory for Yes was to march outside BBC Scotland's headquarters in Glasgow and protest against its "pro-union" bias while calling for the resignation of "liar" Nick Robinson today.

Scottish Independence Vote Triggers Mass Banknote Shift Amid Fears Of Run On ATMs

Millions of banknotes have been rushed to Scotland amid growing fears a Yes vote on Thursday could trigger a run on the country's ATMs, it has been reported.

As the future of the union hangs in the balance, Scottish Banks near the border have also purportedly been moving their money into English accounts in Cumbria.

Fearing people will run to withdraw money and put it into English banks, the cash has been moved to ensure the banks and , ATMs do not run out.

The Bank of England prints bank notes and circulates them in high-security vans to where they are needed, depending on the demand.

Milibean slams the Yes campaign’s ‘ugly’ tactics after Edinburgh ambush

Ed Miliband yesterday accused Yes campaigners of ‘ugly’ tactics after he suffered verbal abuse amid chaotic scenes in Edinburgh.

The Labour leader was branded an ‘absolute liar’ by pro-independence protesters as he toured the city’s St James Shopping Centre.

Shoppers were trampled and pushed aside as campaigners from both the Yes and the No camps clashed during the walkabout.

Among the few people he did get chance to speak to was a tourist and a confirmed Yes supporter. Mr Miliband said: ‘I think we have seen in parts of this campaign an ugly side to it from the Yes campaign. I think debates should be conducted in a civilised way, I think that’s very, very important but I understand that passions run high.

‘What I’ve enjoyed about this campaign, including today when I get the chance, is meeting people who are genuinely undecided.

He had intended to use the visit to tell voters that more powers would be transferred to Scotland in the event of a No vote.

Creation Of UK Was 'Union Of Convenience'
Britishness was "forged" by four factors which the people of the UK held in common: war, Protestantism, liberty and empire.
