No, it's true. He didn't play up for the cameras like Johnny and Kate and was surrounded by perhaps the most annoying group of contestants ever, meaning he was entitled to moan (tell it like it was more like), I know I would have. Since he left he's done well for himself without doing a Jade/Alison/PJ/Spencer etc. by going to the opening of an envelope. Dignity intact.

Alex was the biggest wannabe in there...name something he hasnt done since coming out of the house, hes appeared on all kinds of **** game shows/programs...but hasnt gained any real success, hed turn up to the opening of an envelope if it meant he might get on TV that one....not what i call dignity!

I disagree, he seems to have done a lot less then the other contestants and has done very nicely out of the Domestos advert and modelling. There was an excellent interview with him in the Sunday Times a few months back which reflected this and why he's far more dignified than anyone else in there who's still trying to be famous. I haven't seen him on TV much at all to be honest, whereas the others seem to pop up everywhere.

Let's face it, there's cameras on all of them so they'll all be accused of it by anyone who finds them irritating.
I don't have cameras in my house and I jump on my sofa doing air guitar if I feel like it! And that's when I'm home alone. If I was on BB I would be accused of playing up to the cameras when in fact I'm just being myself.
If I hear anymore comments on playing up to cameras this year I'll go mad!
None of them knew each other before they went in the house so how do they know who's being themselves or playing up?

I hardly think you can call an isolated incident that was one of the highlights of the show 'playing up for the cameras' when people like Johnny and Kate did it any time of day in any circumstance.

No but my point is, they might be like that in real life for all we know....or they're ALL playing up to the cameras, only some are playing the fool, some are playing the 'I'm a boring git me' act or playing it cool or whatever.

The Johnny Regan/Kate Lawler 'we badly need to be famous, look at us! Now!' double act grated though.

Not half as boring as the chickens with the ''look at our silent arses'' act though!!!!

Guess we have been watching different tv shows then finchy....all ive seen is jade and alex appearing on everything since BB3....ive only seen kate a few times...but the things she has got out of it are more long term, like radio show and rise...rather than one off game shows or 'documentary' type things like alex and jade! i dont think ive seen jonny at all, both of those 2 seem to be doing well but without appearing on everything they are offered a tenner for.

I haven't seen Alex on anything really. Other than the radio show, don't know what he's up to whereas Johnny's popping up on things like Channel '4's top 100 whatever giving a non relevant opinion and Kate's omnipresent (altrhough least she didn't get together with that weasel from Blue) as is Jade. Then there's Alison who still seems to be finding things to do even despite being voted out about 2nd. And as for PJ and Spencer, is there any club they haven't appeared at?! Alex seems to be the best for avoiding tacky appearances in my opinion.

Did you miss Alex on Channel 5 on Thursday night? They showed Alex pulling the towel off jade, exposing his bottom and asking Jade to lick it.
and his audition behind the bedroom door straight to camera, 'for any TACKY! work he can get'.

Listening to him every monday and fri morning is definatly gonna cure ur hang over!
