I just got my very first BB text alert woo how pumped?
it tells me that they have to ride a pedalo at 60rpm non-stop for 72 hours... can that be right??

Not a chance - watching the streams they don't appear to be able to see the "clock" and given the airheadedness of somne of the HG s they may fail this

guarantees that they have to stay relatively sober - makes sure there is someone awake for the next 72 hours so that later night/early morning viewers are not watching people asleep - don't think they will do it though

Yeah in a way its like the fire task from BB2, as 2 people have to be there at all times.

They are drinking and trying to peddle - thought there was gunna be a row then. Fred nearly ballsed it up big time.

Its still so loud in it would be driving mental.

Many of them are smoking as well! Good grief!

What a boring task!
Do any of you know if they can refuse a task?
I know I would, all they get is £50 extra for food!.
The task would've been more fun for the housemates, and the viewer's, if they had to do it for a couple of hours and not let the Rate drop below 85rpm.
72 hours is taking then p*ss.

The rate must not drop below 60 not 85. I think it's a great task and one which ensures that there is always someone up so no getting up in the morning to find everyone sleeping.

I didn't watch over night. What were the sleeping arrangements? Are they doing this in shifts?

Clock? They're not supposed to have a clock are they?

Previously they've taken a guess and set the microwave clock to 'near enough' time, maybe that's what they are using. I've not had chance to watch very much since day one so have probably missed something there.

Would have been far better for BB to have used the klaxon to change pedellers over - when it sounds they have only 20 seconds to change both sides, imagine that at 4.30am, then 5am, 5.30am...!

That way they could always give Gos longer stints - he needs it!
