lol, as if I'd watch channel 5! I'm sure if I spent as much time in front of the telly as others obviously do I'd have seen him now and again

lets face it...to be on BB you have to "play up to the cameras" to some degree the only thing debatable is the varying degrees...

Alex has as much dignity as all the others makes me laff how his fans make him out to be a saint.....do you lot not recall him attending a film premier? As for club appearances i doubt any clubs in the land would want to associate themselves with a whinging git...clubs are meant to be fun for clubbers not a place to moan...hardly great PR if they had asked mr moany..

Alex said in one of his very first interviews since leaving the house that the public were probably still fascinatted with him coz he "hasn't sold his soul" BS..what were the bleach adverts all about then?.....I don't have a problem with any HM's using BB to make a few bob but it seems the righteous one has to criticise it and then do it himself....

PS iam hoping for some replies...

Actually, this thread has gone off on a tangent. My original point was not so much who's been on what etc. (everyone's gonna appear somewhere after all, who cares if Alex goes to a film premier, why not?) but the way they have conducted themselves after BB3. In this respect, Alex seems, from my POV, to have least been trying to milk fame for all it's worth (exclusive deal for domestos and some modelling with the odd PR appearance, good money without whoring himself out to everyone) whereas Jade/PJ etc. will appear anywhere, anytime. Perhaps the most annoying thing about this is they're nobodies. Alex was equally hated and liked, thus making him an intersting character and memorable. If he wasn't, you wouldn't have even bothered joining in this discussion. If I saw a thread about PJ I know I wouldn't even look at it. Yet he still appears round the country going 'remember me, I'm the bald guy who got a BJ off Jade in BB3!' Alex however, has a touch of star quality about him that means he still at least partially relevant today, whereas Alison/Johnny etc. are just people who went on Big Brother like Caroline or Andrew and the other nobodies that won't be remembered outside of this board in a years time. In a country where Jade Goody is rewarded with thousands of pounds simply for being an idiot on national TV, it's good to see someone who actually deserves to do well doing so.

See...i dont see doing a bleach ad where it looks like hes peeing in the shower 'respect' thats the HEIGHT of whoreing himself out, appearing on 'russian roulette' getting naked for a magazine...i dont see how any of it is superior to anything the likes of jade and PJ have done!!

Well it is Appearing on TV now and again is better than doing a tour of little clubs going 'I'll do an autograph signing!' by far. Just have to agree to disagree on this one.

i never said he wasn't memorable....tho thats not a good thing depending on wether you like the guy or not...

my point is..no other HM will contradict themselves the way he does...yes he milks it for all its worth and good luck to him,just stop giving it the holier than tho attitude thats all..

as for star quality.. well lets just wait and see in 2 months time
