I know it isn't an indicator for intelligence but did any of this lot go on to any kind of further education? At the minute they aren't behaving like it. I think they are coming across as a bit thick and are all full of cliches. And before any one gets carried away I didn't go to uni. but I'd like to think I could hold a more intelligent conversation that the HM's. Maybe they are all so intelligent that they are hiding it.

I haven't watched much of it yet, but would say that not being considered to hold any strong opinions or views which could come across in conversations, as a good thing this stage in the game.

I don't think anyone will be showing anything real at the moment, until they've all settled in and got used to things.

I hope you're right Shonajoy but last years lot weren't particularly clever either - very entertaining though. Which shows that brains aren't everything.

I've changed my mind, Nush just said Juxtaposition in the correct context. Clever girl.

Funny how perceptions can be different... I was just thinking how much more intelligent this lot seemed than previous years.... after the discussion on the first night ranging from war, to religion, child rearing and european politics i began to think this lot had something about them. And since , they do seem able to string a few coherant sentences together about subjects other than hair gel and celebrities which in BB contestants makes a refreshing change.

Course it remains to be seen if they are just trying to make a good first impression, or if they are always like this.
