I put that in for effect. It's a great word. One of many great American slang words. There are great British slang words too that I could use to describe Ray's bad attitude, but I probably shouldn't use them on this forum.

Although it's probably an insult to knuckleheads to call ray one.

I remember watching an american chat show and someone called someone a knucklehead....it must be a very offensive term as I recall them getting lamped with a wooden chair!

I think (from what I have heard) that it was a comment said in the wrong way maybe, but bot homophobic.

I think what he was saying is that, he prefers NY over San Fransico becuase SF is a gay destination and most of the night life is gay oreantated. He has more choice in NY.

San Fransisco is full of gays? Rays problem is..........??? He'd fit in well! Supposedly there is a housemate who put that they are either gay/bisexual on there application form, but said its personal and none of the other HMs business. i'd bet £100 its Ray- see the way he minces!

I don't think Ray is a knucklehead, I think he is actually a bit of a wimp.

As for him being a homophobe, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Thick cretins are always ignorant. A geat deal of prejudice stems from those who are lacking in the brains department.

Or from those who have feelings that they are trying to disguise.
