Hi BBfans..........I know that anyone with decision making powers from Endemol wouldn't bother to consider anything that we.mere fans, might suggest.

This forum contains many many suggestions about what the audience of BB would see as improvements to this present disaster. Will anyone from Endemol care what we suggest?I'll answer my own question......they don't give a toss and I'm convinced are too arrogant to even visit here and read what fans are saying.

Sensible people are making sensible suggestions to make BB4 more watchable. The basic idea of simply making the suggestion (thread started by Rose  ) that the HM stick to the rules....that will be ignored.

All Endemol are concerned about is increasing revenue from phone voting and upping the advertising charges. They have forgotten that without viewers , it just wont happen.

BB4 is rapidly collapsing.....the general interest in this bunch of people is just not there.Nuts like us,who come to a forum, will possibly stick with it out of a memory of years gone by when we were actually entertained.

I doubt if the larger viewing public are really going to "get it"now. How many days are we in now? No more excuses.....no more chances....heads should roll at Endemol. However, due to a refusal to admit mistakes and a total inability to address the suggestions by sensible people,I think Endemol will still consider that they have done a good job.

C*** programme......but so what?Endemol made money but in the process killed the fatted calf.

My point had nothing to do with whether you are enjoying BB4 or not.
This forum is called BB Fans and as such we can expect to find fans here.

My point is that Endemol are going to ignore us. We make suggestions which Endemol ignores. We (die hard fans) are ignored.I have contacted Endemol......ignored.

Endemol have no interest in producing a quality product......merely a desire to increase revenue in the most cynical manipulative way possible.

I make no apologies for repeating that Endemol are killing the fatted calf and I think its about to backfire on them and in turn Channel Four.

Today's rant at THEM over.

I quite agree ,it's getting better.
At least we don't have a house full of drunk people this year. Most of them must only have sobbered up after leaving the house last year.
Though there was alot of memorable action as a result .

There as been some good discussions this year.
But the comparisons are being made against last years which had some exceptional people who stood out and kept you watching. BB2 had the Paul & Helen thing that people latched onto and that kept them watching.
This year apart from Jon who seems to have a bit of a cult following nobody is really standing out generating the massive interest that makes the general viewers watch. But there is enough there for a good receipe for some good arguments but it'll need a bit more stirring before they really start off. Maybe Jon surviving a 3rd week against someone who really shouldn't go might do it.
Or they get rid of a troublesome housemate , maybe Sissy for her appeal to the public to vote Jon out ? Steph got her final warning for discussing nominations.

Sitting here waiting for a parcel to arrive with both feeds running ,have to say it's not too bad so far today. Discussions in the garden ,some interesting ,some funny do to the lack of knowledge of those participating but generally ok.

Conclusion so far if that it's not 'in your face' with drunken anticts and massive arguments mainly do to the drink ,but we are getting discussions ,some arguments but on a lesser scale than last year with some bitching. The potential is there for some good arguments but some pushing will be needed as they as too bothered to preserve their appearence to the outside world and they rarely forget where they are.

I think BB starts slow most years and generally things start to liven up after the first 2 weeks. This year they're not 'in your face' as much which gives it an interesting thread. I think each of the HMs is trying to be too clever and gradually, one by one, their masks are dropping off (take Justine for example). We, the public, have generally over-reacted to the antics of HMs in previous years - now we've realised that the antics are just not that bad. 'Nasty' Nick wrote some names on a piece of paper and he was most hated man in Britain. Adele called Jonny a 'tos*er' behind his back and she was reviled by the nation. Oooh! The BB Novelty Factor may be wearing thin now and C4/Endemol bosses have to think of new ways to improve incomes and what we may consider to be a good idea may not be a good one from a financial point. I'd give it a bit more time - cracks are beginning to appear and this may yet be the best BB ever.

Well it's certainly getting better but could it have got any worse?
Things that are happening now are things that were the norm in previous BB's. It's like we were all starving and someone threw us a cracker and we're all like ''god damn, this is the best cracker I've ever had in my life'' and we're there with a toothpic trying to get every last crumb
I really hope this isn't the peak of BB4

Well to be honest, I'm only watching it out of habit, also it's sod's law that the minute I stop watching, something spectacular happens!

oh and no way is it better than BB2 or 1 :x

a) I think it's always a bit cr*p at the start, with so many people in there that we're only starting to get to know (don't get me wrong, I find it boring too).

b) On the Endemol point, surely it would create MORE interest if the BB producers were to stick to the rules and evict a housemate for breaking them. Can you imagine the headlines if (probably) Sissy was evicted for rule-breaking? It would be sensational. First ever housemate evicted by producers etc etc.

With the ratings down, wouldn't getting tough (or rather "sticking to the rules") actually be of benefit?

Hey does anyone like my bell? I am showing support to the task. Please don't anyone say it looks like a plunger. It took me hours to create.
