''Network Ten and the producers of Big Brother have apologised for airing a racist comment on the reality TV show after being threatened with possible legal action by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC).

Host Gretel Killeen opened last night's nomination episode with an apology, saying the comment was "offensive to both women and people of Aboriginal descent".
