Why is this board so quiet? last year it was one of the busiest messageboards that I'd ever seen.

Is it just the reaction to this year's housemates because there's not enough to talk about?

Everyone has resumed NORMAL LIFE I'm afraid.

Shame really, there used to be 10 new pages of threads every time i came back last year

Im also finding one or two posting are very nit picking re messages not being in the right section ...Fair enought you have to have order but some are just silly picks.....And one or two have been a bit sharp with new comers to the board, enought to put you off coming back I would think ....

I have asked the moderators not to be too fussy about moving topics now, so hopefully that won't happen again. Also, the board is very slow at times, which may put some people off. Unfortunately, I had to change hosting companies, because we were using so much bandwidth I just couldn't afford it. Sorry about that. That's one of the drawbacks of having a busy site - it costs too much!

I think though, maybe the board is more quiet, because this year's BB is not so good and there's not so much to talk about. Last year, we had all the speculation about the bars to talk about and there were some more lively housemates to discuss.

I fully agree. This year, the housemates are in general, very dull. For example, take Jon. Even though he may be entertaining when he twitters on about the most inane things and acts like he really is the office manager/monkey in the house, it speaks volumes when Jon, whose notoriety is based on being boring and slightly bizarre, has become the icon of the show. Maybe this just sums up this year's show.

By the way Christine, I have got used to going to the different forums. I don't think it is that bad. In some ways, it may stop repetition of topics and causing less hassle to read and for mods to sort out.
