Jim Royle would probably just say the phrase, but the housemates have realised they have a problem as stocks of toilet paper run low.

Despite Cameron pleading with BB for supplies he came back with the message "Toilet roll is not a staple". Jon suggested trading some beans with BB, but at only 9p a tin they'd have to give over a hefty amount to supply the house with enough rolls.

Cameron helpfully suggested "Just make sure you go (to the toilet) before you shower" - which would have had Alex screaming "I think that's disgusting" had he still been around.

BB says they'll just have to manage until their next batch of shopping arrives...

Did anyone hear Gos when Ray went to 'knock one out'?

''Remember we only got 1 toilet roll man!''

And... Big Brother gives in again. Later in the day Cameron went to see BB again in the diary room and returned with the news that they would exchange complete packs of goods, against the shopping list, for the same value in toilet rolls.

Why not just open the secret tunnel and let the HM's nip to Tesco themselves ? If BB was a brand new car the speedo would be showing a few thousand miles MINUS milage by now !

In the end it was the pack of cheese that Sissy had requested that found it's way back to the diary room to be swapped for 4 packs of loo roll. Cameron brought in a temporary supply of 4 rolls after a(nother) visit to the diary room.

Steph had her own plans - and divided up packs of paper towels into 9 neat piles, but thankfully the large, coarse, sheets are not needed...

It's not the toilet rolls in particular, the fact that the HM's forgot to put any on the shopping list - and therefore adding to their woes...

Toilet rolls on the whole are unhygenic. In many countries, interestingly enough in many DEVELOPING countries, using any substance other than water is frowned upon. I have relatives in India who are shocked at the thought of using crispy paper to simply smear the doo-doo around the you-know-what! Perhaps the HMs could use the hose in the garden!

Aggree with you on the crispy tracing paper-like stuff that we used to have at school...but just water alone? Not me thankyou, unless it was a jet wash! ::lol::
