I don't think BB is too bad this year. I can see why some people hate it, because these lot aren't the best group of people, but there had to be a bad BB sometime, and I'm glad it's now rather than later. At least we know it will never be as bad as this again!

Anyway, I think the Africa swap is a good idea. Teletext, internet, papers and the news are already covered in BB Africa swap stuff, which will hopefully now increase the ratings!

However, I disagree with the way Cameron was picked for it. It was completely unfair. I think that BB should have called them all to the sofa, and told them that there would be an individual challenge, and whoever took up the challenge would win a very big reward. The housemates then would have had to pick one of them to take up the challenge. It would probably have been Nush, as she was excluded from the reward room on Saturday. Cameron survived eviction, won the task, still has Nush on his side even though he left her out, and now he's going to bloody Africa! Any other housemate would have been better. I personally think that Gos or Tania should have gone!

Well of course he accepted it, who WOULDN'T accept it. Any housemate would jump at the opportunity to do such a task. But that's not my point.

Someone who doesn't fancy going to Africa perhaps? I think it's a bit of a sweeping statement to say 'any' houseamte would, depends on the individual.

You are kidding aren't you Finchy9? You, writer of sensible well-reasoned posts!

Honestly, could you see any HMs being told "we're gonna take you out of the house, whisk you off on a free trip to Africa for a few days and also you'll be free of nominations for 2 weeks" and replying "no thanks" ???

Yes. They might be happy where they are and decide to give someone else a go. You can't rule that out, unlikely as it is.

2 weeks free of evictions has made him into favourite to win the show, in my opinion.

Tania goes this week and then Nush goes the week after.

You have Steph, Gos, Ray, Scott & Cameron left. Steph & Gos arent going to nominate Cameron and Cameron cant nominate himself that means he makes the final 4 with ease.

very sad indeed that Cameron without having done anything at all to deserve it, just being bl00dy wallpaper for weeks, suddenly slides into the final 4 by virtue of being the one who happened to go into the diary room.

ridiculous.

I dont think it will be a final 4 think it will be a final three (cos of the two evictions) big brother australia had a double eviction last night so wonder if mabe they are going to do some sort of link up with them anyways they have to cover doing a double eviction

after reading about the south african housemates could be in for a lot of laughs with them especially if the transvestite gets in

Cameron is clearly being groomed to win BB4. This whole swap is far too contrived to be in BB. This is yet another step to ruining what BB should stand for: The ULTIMATE reality show. A dozen strangers living together for nine weeks with no gimmicks.
BB as we know and love it is being ruined forever, and i want none of it..
What will we get next year? A housemate given a week off to spend time with his family?

This is a farce of a show..

I agree about the gimmick part. But I don't know about Cameron being groomed to win. He certainly benefitted from some selective editing from C4 to keep him in, but him going to the diary room was completely random as it could have been anyone, so no grooming there.
