Well, the Ticklemeister called it right again. On BBLB he said that Gae will force them to have this type of discussion, which they hadn't so far, and that's exactly what happened apparently. http://www.channel4.co.uk/bigbrother/ne ... sp?id=4076

Tania had the right Idea when she said:

"Why do we get into these discussions when we're p****d?" she muttered to herself eventually. {@}

I do have at least one brain cell *i think ;) *

But I hate talking about politics and religion. Always ends in arguments.
And I think politics are basically BS anyway....take this new 3rd runway proposal at Heathrow....ask the people what they think..WHY? they're gonna do it anyway! And of course, the Tories are opposing it, but if the Tories were in power, it would be Labour opposing it. Well that's what i think anyway...BS!

Actually I do! But I just used that as an example of BS!

(the 3rd runway won't affect me as much as some though. The school I work in will be completely demolished, as will the whole village. The school hasn't recieved much funding in the past for essential modernisation, but hey presto..they were given £72k to build a new library extension last week :roll: )

well they already have plans for a 4th and 5th....(I think you're thinking of the 5th terminal)....so it's pretty pointless them asking the residents for their objections in writing. :roll:

Like I said I'm not really affected where I am...I'll get worse air quality than I already have, at the moment I'm not on the flight path but probably will be. I can live with that. I just feel sorry for the people who have lived there for ages,many of them elderly, many families been there for generations who have all their loved ones buried in the local Church. Ok so they will get paid to move, but it's not all about money.

Ok, NOW I'm staying away from politics!

It was just getting interesting ............ ::lol:: ::lol::

I live on the Heathrow "take off" path but it does not bother me at all. I reckon I'll really miss concord when it is withdrawn from service in October.

I was a student at Brunell University in Osterly which is on the landing path, the noise bothered my occasionally in the early days but after the first semester I became quite immune to it.

I live in Jersey and the entire island is on the flight path, except for the odd obscure house in the middle of nowhere. ::lol::
