I thought we could have an area to post information of movies that are soon to be released.

I know of two that are soon to be released or in production!

If you are a Johnny Depp fan ;) you will be pleased to know he has just completed a movie were he plays a swashbuckling pirate, Orlando Bloom is in it and Geoffery Rush is playing the badie. It looks interesting. The movis is = Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

I think the men on this site will probably like the new Tom Cruise movie although I think it is still in production. It is about Samurai. (Lots of fighting probably) Hense the title the Last Samurai. Cruise is Veteran from the American Civil War and he comes to Japan to train the Emperors Troops. Oh and I forgot to mention Billy Connolly is also in it.

It has been announced that there will be a movie of Alexander the Great but we wont get it till 2005. Alexander is going to be played by Leonardo De Caprio and Olympia is to be played by Nicole Kidman. It is to directed by Baz Luhrmann.

However there is another movie about Alexander the Great the movies title is just called Alexander which should be released in 2004. Alexander is being played by Colin Farrell and Ptolomey by Anthony Hopkins. The Director is Oliver Stone.

I am looking forward to seeing both movies, I just hope they do Alexander justice.

For those of you whom have been discussing the Stepford wives in relation to the big brother may be interested to learn that a new movie is in production staring the following actors. Nicole Kidman .... Joanna Eberhart, Matthew Broderick .... Walter Eberhart, Christopher Walken .... Dale Coba, Faith Hill .... Charmaine Wimperis, Glenn Close .... Dr. Emily Francher, Roger Bart .... Roger Bannister, Bette Midler .... Bobbie Markowe. This should be released in 2004

A new King Arthur Movie is being filmed at the moment staring the following actors and will be released in 2004. Clive Owen = King Arthur, Stephen Dillane = Merlin, Keira Knightley = Guinevere, Ioan Gruffudd = Lancelot, Stellan Skarsgård = Cedric, King of the Saxons, Ray Winstone = Bors, Hugh Dancy = Galahad. The cast looks good!

The League of Extraordinary Gentleman is released in the US next week, this is my tip for one of the films of the year.

The Return of the King, the third part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy is my tip for box office annihilation.

The last samurai is my tip for a best actor oscar for Tom Cruise and could scoop a hell of a lot. The only thing to stand in its way is ROTK which everyone thinks will sweep the board just to congratulate it for the whole trilogy. LAST SAMURAI IS RELEASED IN DECEMBER.

SWAT will also soon be released which should give us males some good action no brainer entertainment. This has Colin Farrell and Sam Jackson in.

FINDING NEMO once released here is the greatest kids film done by PIXAR in my opinion including TOY STORY and MONSTERS INC.

SPIDERMAN 2 has Spiderman fighting Doctor Octavious (Octopus) who is played by Alfed Molina.

PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN, I will be watching next week so I will tell you what its like Michelle. Also you will find my review for TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES on here.

Films to avoid at all costs: THE ITALIAN JOB (THE REMAKE)
HOUSE OF A THOUSAND CORPSES
LIZZY McGUIRE STORY
FROM JUSTIN TO JASON (The filmmakers should be killed)

FILMS WHICH I HOPE EVERYONE AT SOME POINT HAVE SEEN, AND IF NOT THEN WATCH:

REQUIEM FOR A DREAM ( One of the greatest films ever made)
MEMENTO (If you havent seen this by now you are losing out)

I hope people enjoy hearing about new films too Michelle. The more that can be added to this forum the better in my opinion.

Thanks Mutter_Chops look forward to reading your review. Talking about Nemo, I have just started to read Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea, I have never read it before but a friend lent it to me recently.

I'm looking forward to the release of "Grand Theft Parsons".
The true story of the death, and the kidnapping of the body, of
60's-70's music legend Gram Parsons. (starring Johnny Knoxville
of "Jackass" fame) ()^

No problem at all Michelle. The Nemo in Finding Nemo is not the one in 20,000 leagues. Michelle, once you see Pirates - you are going to be in love with it. I can tell by your icon, who you like. And thats my only complaint.....Why does Johnny Depp have to look so good :-( Average chaps don't have a look in.
