lol... I had to learn most of it for work.

constantly confuse people on email and txt by slipping in the odd thing ;)

my friend has been tutoring an a-level boy and the texts he sends her ... ${

no wonder people are alarmed at the state of education these days. :roll:

It is a great worry.

txt tlk is one thing but when you employ that into all frames of written communication..well its a worry.

makes people sound thick in my opinion.

absolutely agree. makes people sound unintelligent and about 12 years old. get really annoyed when you see those stories about instances of txt talk being used in exams and coursework too. :8o:

and in work e-mails it grates on me as well.

Me too...I suppose it's different though if you have alot to say and only 10p credit left on your mobile.....but emails and forums and general writing...well that's just stupid. :roll:
