Just thinking out loud, I post on several sites and always encourage new people to post, and I find it really amusing when people get all defensive and get sad about people invading their forum, hope it never happens here. Just like intimidation of mods should not be tolerated, or people taking themselves TOO seriously. Oooh some people are *so* ironic.

Though like I say thank **** it doesn't happen here, in the main.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm there?

To be honest I am not *THAT* active a member here, but I get on with Christine, and quite a few members, and have found 99% of members here friendly, including you. Its just I am aware of some arrogant, self obsessed, attention seeking, banal tossers on here, and have seen how they have treated a mod here, whom I call a friend.

To be honest Bonzo my life is pretty crap at the moment and this place, and the people on it have been my life line (and that isn't an exaggeration)

If anyone has a problem please let those individuals sort it out like adults using pm's. This kind of thing gets out of hand all too quickly as we have witnes before and it's usual a misunderstanding or a jokey comment taken the wrong way that is escalated out of control.

I have on occasion seen the odd personal comment on here but as a rule I have enough to deal with so i avoid these threads but when things get out of control it affects the whole forum...

there's no excuse for being nasty or bullying....there's too much of that irl....who needs that when they're having fun online?

I don't post much here, but I do visit from time to time. I think it is a great shame if bullying is allowed on forums. Mods have a job to do, and are easy game for people who want to cause trouble. I have seen it happen before.

I agree that online stuff should be fun. But people can be hurt, so bullying shouldn't be tolerated.

Coming and visiting and posting on a forum should be fun...I know that I'm very new but...bullying someone just for doing their job on the forum...not good

I've been a fairly regular member here for about a year and can't say that I have seen any Bullying - you do get people who post just to irratate but they seem pretty few and far between - I took a bit of flack last year for some comments I made about jade but I am ok with everyone that didn't agree with me, its only peoples opinion on these forums and everyones entitled to have one even if others do not agree. so long as its not really offensive and kept fairly light hearted I can't see why people get so worked up love you all really

exactly..lesleyuk...some ppl do it via pm's and should be outed...for me thats worse than bullying on a forum coz at least the have the balls to be upfront about it....love you too

I agree about the PMs.

A lot of horrible bullying goes on in them. And people can appear so angelic on the boards!

The title of this topic was obviously intended for Jon and me.

Christine, Bob and LONG term mods have all on numerous occasions asked for any personal differences to be dealt with on pm and not on the boards. We have no problem if Phoenix wants to post ALL our pms to her on the board as they were neither abusive or bitchy, they were only expressing our disappointment that herself and other forum members found it neccesary to go onto another forum to post bitchy remarks about us rather than say anything to our faces.

Now stop acting like a bunch of little old ladies and drop it. I'm sure Christine doesn't need this crap. You were caught out bitching (NOT joking) if someone hadn't told us about it then we would never have known but they did and we saw it.

Get over it.

Awhile ago everyone seemed to get a bit pissy with eachother, but thats mostly sorted now, but I havent really been around as much since then... but I think its all good now!
