That annoyed me - she didnt take part in the task - due to ill health!

BUT....instead of sitting outside cheering them on she sat with a miserable look on her face inside on the sofas..... She didnt offer any support whatsoever (that I saw anyway)

she didn't do the task???

good grief. well if she's not well enough to do it she should have been tucked up in bed.

If she really did have an asthma attack, then not being out in the garden would have been a precautionary move (pollen etc etc).

But she couldve cheered them on instead of sitting there looking at them like they were a bunch of idiots (okay they looked like a bunch of idiots)

I get asthma (quite badly) and I have to say that if she cant compete in tasks because of her asthma - should she really be in there...seems like a convienient excuse to prevent herself from looking stupid!!!

Has ANYONE seen her with a ventalator, or even a paper bag?

It doesnt ring true to me.

may only need an inhaler but not seen her with one...

Not really because not every task is a physical task.
Though, I do suspect she may use that excuse once more before it ends.

Well smoking is bad for you wether you have asthma or not (sorry to state the obvious) but it doesn't stop people doing it if they're addicted. Same as if you are obese, it doesn't stop people eating cakes!
I was going to give up smoking but everything I see on Tv makes me feel like a fag...everytime i watch BB someone is smoking.....even worse are those bloody anti-smoking adverts ('' and it's all d'yuuuue to smoking)grrrrrrrr....they just remind me that I ain't had a fag in the last half hour! they really annoy me!

Easier said than done my friend ! I find that advert the most stupid of them all. Yes, it's sad that smoking has done that to a person but have they totally missed the point or what ?! Smoking is a "physical" addiction, meaning that you can't just flick a decision switch and it goes away !!

If the government really wants us all to stop smoking ( and it really IS up to them to make the larger move here ), then they should come up with some alternative that is just as convenient ( because people aren't just gonna stop doing their favourite thing ) and will combat the nicotine addiction to the point where it just dissappears.

Sorry to ramble folks, but this is a topic that really gets to me !

they should reduce the cost of nicotine patches gum etc, you end up spendig more on them than you would if you smoked twice as much.

People just cant afford to give up that way

Government makes milllions on taxes through
your smoking habit.
They don't want you to stop.....but like most things in life (or in this case,
a probable,misserable, painful death)- it's a double edged sword, cos the money they make on taxes, is spent on smokers in hospital, dying of nicotine related diseases. .......ho-hum.

Turning the cynical dial up to 11, the country is already sitting on a demographic timebomb, with pensions in particular becoming a growing problem. Do the government (any government) really want to stop something which generates tax income and lowers the lifespan of a large percentage of the population?

Getting back to the topic, don't think it maters whether she cheers them on or not when they're always talking about her behind her back like the spineless cretins they are.
